Maybe your problem isn't DHT maybe it's your immune system, or metabolism, or thyroid.

@nicksparrow ; you got good result with duta ?
no hair thinning or sides with letro ?
I was thinking of taking aromasin instead of letro , is it a better idea ?
i am concerned about the oestradiol rebound of letro

If you are in the beginning of the treatment it should be a shedding

Applying minoxidil for a year now, duta almost 3 months and spironolactone a little over a month... Don't know if it's a shed since I think i'm still miniaturizing and the itching / crawling / burning feeling on my scalp is still there.. My left temple just vanished in the last 2 months and my right one is on the way... Really sucks how duta and a high dose of spironolactone isn't doing sh*t for me... Guess I'll wait a little more before I quit..

Thyroid is OK.. Immune system idk is there a way to test if it's ok??

I did get an awful dermatitis and inflammation which is better now but not gone... Maybe minoxidil is doing more harm than good but i don't really want to drop it without any type of confirmation ... The thing is, every time I go to a derm they dismiss the itchiness and burn feeling before the shed... They prescribed me with topical steroids but didn't do anything... I'm screwed...

Well, you have the answers bro. Dermatitis and inflammation are the worst for hair growth. Its not a surprise that you havent any good results even with duta and spironolactone. Its also true that spironolactone and duta can give som heavy shedding in th beginning. My advice its to quit minoxidil, th culprit of your inflammation , continue with the topical steroids and duta + spironolactone

nope no hair thinning. 0 sides.
your estrogen doubled on dutas. letro is definetely needed here.
Also letro will be MUCH cheaper for you than aromasin and also more effective. 50 tablets for 57$ from inhouse
1 tablet a week and it'll last you nearly a whole year.
haven't had gyno problems either the past 8 months, no rebound issues.

i don't know the half life of letro and the science behind it . but with 1 tablet a week you have foud the oestradiol sweet spot ?
i have read that aromasin was more " forgiving " as an AI , no rebound , etc ...
you have taken blood test ?
Because if i take duta daily , my oestradiol will certainly skyrocket

and i am concern that if i inhibit DHT with duta
and inhibit oestradiol with letro to a normal range
I will have more free test floatinf in my system ? will it harm my hair ?

i am pretty sure that the user peabody/ adjac ; has found the perfect dosage between all those drugs . great hair result while on duta , and injecting testosterone , and preventing oestradiol conversion
If he could tell me his protocol that would be nice ^^

( but he certainly wouldn't , given the fact that he might be sponsored by bodybuilding stuff )

Thanks bro! I've thought so many times on quitting minoxidil this year I've been on it... But I know I'm a responder so I'm quite worried about the shed that comes with quitting it.... If by the end of the month it's still going downhill I'm going to quit minoxidil for good since I'm losing a lot of hair anyway...

The thing is my derm wont prescribe me topical estrogen. It would be really hard for me to get it... The cypro is still a possibility but i would like to leave it for a last resort... I want to give spironolactone at least 3 months to see if it does anything, the amount i'm taking is crazy btw lol

I remember when I stopped taking finasteride after being on it for almost a year. That's when my hairloss got really aggressive. Realized that it never stopped my hairloss but did slow it down by a lot.

If you have gyno just use an AI like arimidex and it should clear it up. Letro is usually overkill, especially if your not taking steroids and taking it just from some sides effects from dutasteride. Would also take some tamoxifen or a similar SERM after dropping arimidex to avoid any type of gyno rebound after dropping the AI.

i am currently taking with doctor rand mc clain ; a specialist in the field of steroid and TRT . And according to him, it could be possible to take low dose arimidex while on duta / fina

I told you dutasteride was not going to be any better and could cause more sides. You just need to get a hair transplant if you want to look like you got regrowth but I still have never seen a photo fo your hair and for all I know you have a NW2 or less still.

thanks doctor .
If the issue was only my hairline i would just do a hair transplant and be happy . i know that duta/fina and even tansgneder regimen can't regrow bare temple
However i have been diagnosed with diffuse thinning (mid scalp / vertex ) . So i have to react and stop the miniaturization
Unfotunately for me fina ( even at high dose ) and minoxidil is not enough for me
And i have only tried low dose duta ( twice a week ) .
I know that the normal dosage ( 0.5 mg daily ) will at least stop the miniatuzaiton process .

thanks wolf .
yes even if i am desesperate to keep my hair ; for me gyno is the major issue . And i will never do the transgender regimen . for me this is madness
SO maybe duta 0.5 mg and an AI to control this
However this is really time consuming , i have to do many blood test to find my oestradiol sweet spot etc ...
life is hard with hairloss , a lot of sacrifice
ANd i have the gyno residue to treat .
