Generally anytime there are significantly abrupt changes to hormonal levels a telogen effluvium is triggered. This can start anywhere from a month to 4 months out. It is possible with the addition of Dutasteride this maybe the reason however, now that you introduced Spironolactone you may have extended the duration. Spironolactone usually takes about 30 days to take effect on your endocrine system so you'll probably start noticing the effects anytime.

Yeah I do believe it happened with Duta because I had an awful shedding exactly one month after starting it.. And had another 5 weeks after starting spironolactone.. But in between I had a lot of good days where i lost 5 - 6 hairs in the shower, so maybe i just need to give it a little more time..

I'm also trying to reduce the minoxidil i put in the frontal part to see if my scalp gets in better shape. Also because I have a weird "line" right before my hairline that is a lot thinner and by coincidence is where I spray the minoxidil to spread it through my hairline.. I find it odd that I have these "lines" and circular patches where I have significantly less hair that coincides with where I put the minoxidil... Let's see what happens!

Arimidex can be good to lower your estrogens but not for your hair..you are going to have more testo to be converted in dht

Balding is no laddah. More like a set of stairs you got pushed down and you're just trying to stop tumbling.
Definitely take it slow with the dutasteride if you're very prone to gyno. It's in your system so long that if you hit some critical point. You might be stuck there for a bit growing.

@arnoldd ; that is one of my concern . But maybe the low dosage will not increase the free test that much
I will have to balance the effect

@Wolf Pack : honestly the only thing which prevent me from changing my course and restrating a medicine course is my hair loss
BEcause if i finish my law studies , i will leave college next year , and my hairloss would have not be that much noticed
And if i have to restart again i will be surrounded by 18 yo Norwood 0 kids . And me with my Norwood 3 .

that sucks , because I really feel that is the studies i wan't to do .

ok brah , just got my result after 6 month on dutasteride twice a week .
And the result is bad ; my oestradiol are on the high range ; jumped from 23 on fina to 41 on duta !!
range is 20 to 45 for male .
I feel bloated , i have mood swing , no libido , puffy nipples , the full sides . Worst than fina 5 mg per day !
SO i am basicaly fucked !
BEcause twice a week duta doesnt give me better result and just more sides
I know that the full duta dosage would work , but i would get severe sides .

Sounds like you have estrogen dominance. I’ve been theorizing that duta has a major effect on estrogen and that has a huge part in damaging the hairline. Aromatase has something to do with the hairline.

Bro i take 1.5mg dutasteride a day and have none of the sides besides slower body hair regrowth. No effect on beard though

not at all bro, im genetically prone to store fat around my arms and chest a bit and even that did not have an impact. I regrew temples to nw1.5 with 2mg for some reason in 2017summer but ended up shedding those

Fat has nothing to do with gyno (real gyno). Gyno is pure mammary gland.

Mainly true. But estrogenic fat is real. I have gyno and gyno surgery scheduled in a month. 95% of the growth is glandular tissue. With some very minor fat that accumulated around the gland.

I’ll never have to worry about gyno again being in hair meds after this surgery. People shouldn’t worry about gyno. That can be fixed. Hairloss well right now that’s been proved to be super hard

hey man ! first how old are you ? you claimed you were norwood 1,5 at 21 and now norwood 3 ? even with this really strong regimen ? maybe its something else than dht in your case.

do you have pictures ? i need to see that norwood 3 to believe it

Really you used a topical and it caused sides. I’ve read many people who have taken it stating they had no problems. So odd how it affects everyone differently

My estradiol is 61 pg/mL from using Estrogel on temples and forehead. I feel great and No I'm not even close to transgener. I'm also taking finasteride but that hasn't affected estradiol levels. 41 pg/mL should'nt be that alarming but I guess it could be high for your specific biochemistry. Shouldn't a higher estradiol level at least be good for hair?
