Give it 4 months. When I used oral minoxidil I thought it wasn't working and my hair looked like sh*t. But around the 4 month mark..boom VERY good regrowth.
Why did you stop oral minoxidil then, if you did?

I think trinov is slowing my hairloss. It decreases the itch and seems to slow sebum production. It's no where near as effective as min or finasteride but I think it helps a little.

I stopped Trinov awhile back. One thing I always found curious though, and even more so now that we've seen multiple reports of people with sexual sides, is that the study seemed to have specifically included an older population. I could be wrong about this, but I feel like I remember seeing it. Could this have been done to reduce the likely hood of noticeable Testosterone effecting sides?

Just completed three months.

Didn't experience the bad shed some on here speak of.

Had a little shed maybe six weeks in.

Hair feels much better. Fuller, thicker and darker.

Still too early to judge regrowth but all in all I am pretty happy with Trinov.

The only downside is the price.

Hoping that after my next three months I will see new hair grow.

Glad to hear it.

As for me I'm pushing towards 5 months and I'm experiencing a shed and a renewed 'itching and burning' after having had virtually no shedding for about 3 months. Also, the hairs I'm shedding are full terminal hairs not the wispy miniaturized ones I shed earlier on. The shed isn't crazy but it's definitely amped up during the last couple of weeks. Not sure what's going on but I didn't expect this and I'm not digging it much. If there is an improvement it's yet to make a cosmetic difference.

It would be so great to move on from this and put my mind to other things. f***.

There seems to be a mix of people on here, some who report varying degrees of benefit from Trinov, and some who report no benefit at all. Maybe it is one of those treatments that works a lot better for some people than others. There would need to be a double-blind study to test its efficacy reliably though. The power of placebo can be very strong. It is easy for someone to believe a treatment is making a difference when in fact it isn't. And if it is being used in combination with other treatments, it makes it even more difficult to judge its benefits.

Whether or not Trinov works, I think it is fairly obvious that it doesn't come anywhere close to the level of finasteride's effectiveness, and it is probably a lot less powerful than minoxidil also.

It was quite obvious even before it came to market it had very low to none regrowth.

I think this thread should be closed, its not new any more and it have shown to be what it already had shown in the studies. People wasted a lot of money on it, but that is what happens when people are first movers.

Still shedding a lot on this stuff. Literally nearly 3 full MONTHS of shedding. Lost a ton of ground on my hairline/temples. It's terrible. I'm at the 4.5 month mark. I'll stick it out to 6-7 months since I'm hoping for what I lost to come back at a minimum. If it doesn't, it will be ridiculous.

I have been using Trinov for 4 months and I decided to quit (I used 5 bottles in 4 months). No results. At least no side effect as well. I still have one unopened bottle. If anyone in Europe is interested, I can sell it for 10 EUR + shipping costs. Send me a message if you are interested.

I’m a 38 yr old female been using trinov for nearly 5 months, the past 6wks I’ve had 3 bad migraines (I usually have 1 a year) I’m 99% sure it’s the estrogenic effect of the Equol, so I’m going to stop. This last migraine is so bad the aura hasn’t gone away. I’m sad because I had significant improvement see attached before and after. So disappointed

I doubt that Trinov is the trigger. Mostly, the migraines come from stress and depression. As someone who's been through this I've found ways to avoid them by working out at the gym, taking walks, avoiding toxic people, doing things that make you happy and finding little things to do that bring meaning to your life.

sorry to hear that you're going through health issues. You're progress is great. I'm not going to play amateur doctor but i do hope that you find that your migraines have another cause and you can continue the treatment that is so obviously working for you. So far -- you're the only member that has put up convincing pictures of verifiable progress. In any case -- best of luck to you.

I can imagine that you are dissapointed.
But on the upside..the Korean topical is about to hit the market.
That should provide some comfort for you!

After reading those reports on shedding, headaches and testicle pain, I wouldn't apply it even if they pay me for doing so.

I also suffer from migraines (for about 15 years), on average 2-4 times a month. I have not noticed any changes after starting Trinov.

In my experience, I have tried to blame the bad periods on numerous things: new medications, shampoos, diet-changes etc. But with the years I have come to realize that I only really have 3 significant triggers, namely stress, large barometric changes and really strong smells (e.g. new paint).

Given your great results, I would personally advice you to keep going a bit and see if it calms down, as there's a large chance that it's not related.

Also, are you applying in the morning or in the evening? Lots of people have reported interrupted sleeping when applying the lotion in the evening, which could trigger migraines.

A drop in estrogen is a big trigger for migraines which is why people get headaches before their period, weirdly the 3 migraines I had were after skipping a day’s application, which would essentially result in a drop in estrogen. I’m also a bit worried about using equol long term as I can’t take the pill -> increased stroke risk. I might be reading too much into it but for me it’s not worth it. I think it will be fine for most but I’m just extra sensitive to hormone shifts. I’m considering trying topical saw palmetto as I’ve now seen that topicals can help. And will check out the Korean one. Worth a try!

Hi, wanted to show you guys my progress.

I started three treatments at the same time as I was kind of desperate to see some regrowth. So, since January I’ve had four PRP treatments, used Trinov every day, and also started using an eye medicine called Lumigan (prescription needed, applied to the scalp along with trinov).

I’ve also decreased the weekly dose of Finasteride from 6 to 4 days.

I’m quite happy with the results, although I wish I had been more scientific and only tried one treatment at a time, since I don’t really know what’s causing the little regrowth I feel I am getting.

more than 99% probability that it is the finasteride that's giving you the regrowth
