@H.i. - it's no longer BDD, it's just a reality. I don't know if I have chronic Telogen Effluvium, but it's even worst than the last time I posted pics... and lets be clear here, the honest people (@blackg) responded with - his hair doesn't look good, at all.

It's to the point that even my family, who wouldn't say a thing before have started talking. things like "yeah, it has thinned out a lot in a short time... you should get your thyoid checked."

I wish it was BDD, but to be honest, I have the opposite of BDD - delusion. I want to keep thinking it looks o.k., so I tell myself all sorts of sh*t.

It's just to the point where i must question if keeping this sh*t density on top looks better or worst than being completely bald. honestly man

@blackg came into my mind when writing about BDD, and man, unless you're Ronald Reagan he thinks every dude has a "serious problem".

Well anyway I'm going to trust that this time it really is as bad as you say, partly because it doesn't matter either way whether it's that bad or not. The important thing is that you feel so sh*t about it and that feeling ain't going anywhere.

But just to re-iterate and make sure my message is clear here (not to be holier than thou but because I do actually care) please don't consider hitting the bottle when you see that reflection and photos, maybe you think I'm being mellow-dramatic but wake up- you were on it daily for way too long. Make a commitment to yourself that if you do start boozing for purely depressed "f*** it all anyway" reasons that you need to do something highly embarrassing like alcoholics anonymous, it's the only way really.

Otherwise, it could spiral, and you'd be a drunk bald guy for years, missing out on so much from life.

Ugh..LOL... I don't know i saw it yesterday on HairLossTalk.com somewhere current-- I will try and find it for you--the guy has done if for several months and he has some regrowth in his pics..I can't explain 'why' ...
It is a new f*****g demeaning low for hair loss suffers-- hell I a woman and the thought of yeast medication rubbed on my freaking hair is like 'wtf?" but the little regrowth he got I was like hmm maybe...

He also had itch that is why I mentioned it..i wish i had tagged you on the page but i felt obnoxious to be like "Hey I know you are in a sh*t of pain--BUT have you tried some Yeast med yet?"
I mean it is like some cruel universal joke.

maybe bad hair day?? so ur hair transplant didnt work? but for shaving pls dont do it at least now get tan and hit the gym grow goatee and then shave it or buzz it to 2.3 guard

I sincerely appreciate your advice. You seem to actually care about the situation the other posters are in. My hair is whats making me miss out on life. I have a million other flaws, but for some reason, this one trumps all. I sincerely tried to quit drinking for good, but failed. Not because it mentally releases me from my personal issues, because it is the ONLY thing that kills the scalp inflammation. A couple drinks and I don't feel the crawling through my scalp anymore. But, either way, that's only temporary. I wake up and feel it all over again.

Would weed help? Or if you don't wanna get high (for some insane reason) CBD oil, which has no THC so you can even smoke it around work/driving etc.

Weed, in any form, makes me paranoid and anxious. smoking, eating, oils, hell even vaporizing does not help me deal with all my bullshit.
