Totally agree. I come home from work as early as possible.. have a drink, head to the woods with my dog, come home, sit on the deck, play the cello for hours, etc... Weird you mentioned that because just two days ago I started making a dream log. My dreams are disturbing as hell. A lot of them nowadays involve my f*****g hair too, which is just goddamn f*****g bullshit.

Isn't playing the Cello like symbolically having a woman's body between your legs?

that actually sounds like a pretty cool life. you're in touch with the things that matter, the forms of life that won't judge you based on your hair. the dream log is a great idea because it helps you remember the dreams more consistently and even identify when you're dreaming. in my real life i have to spend all day interacting with people while wearing a pile of fried straw on my head, so i figure i may as well put more effort into dream-land than awake land.

dreams involving hair though, i feel you! the other day i had one where i had full density, but i was sporting some shitty bowl cut and a grown out mustache. other times i just have straight up horrific loss, with a grown out horseshoe and a couple stray pubes on top. hair is unfortunately such a big part of our psyche that our subconscious won't even let us escape it while we sleep. there is always the next life though!

how long you been playing cello? i'm trying to learn piano right now and it's insanely difficult.

How's the weather up in your part of California today, buckthorn?
P.S. Are you drinking at 7am?

I don't live in Cali blackg, haha... but, I am sure it's beautiful. It's nice here right now too. No, my earliest drinking time is 4pm on weekdays, and 2pm on weekends. I have been limiting myself to 1-2 drinks a day though.. which is a start. ;)

It only gets weird if you print out my pic and paste it to the cello.

buckthorn - (intently looks around the room and through the miniblinds, walks aggressively to cello and rips off the picture of hairblues scotch taped to its body.)

Well f***, don't know how it happened so quick (cough cough finasteride) but it's that time when the top of my head looks like f*****g pubic hair and I want my goddamn f*****g sh*t hair gone for good.

I posted a pic last year (march I think?) where I had shaved down the back and sides and I want to see it so I can remember what they looked like buzzed down.

@Admin @Swoop or any other of your technology wizards - If you help me find it, I will send you a fruit basket in the mail. THANK YOU!!!!

No, never love me as much as you love Dane lol

I am going to guess he was banned for posting the hairy taco a few days ago.
I was thinking the same thing. I was surprised he posted that because its against the rules here.

I sincerely appreciate your advice. You seem to actually care about the situation the other posters are in. My hair is whats making me miss out on life. I have a million other flaws, but for some reason, this one trumps all. I sincerely tried to quit drinking for good, but failed. Not because it mentally releases me from my personal issues, because it is the ONLY thing that kills the scalp inflammation. A couple drinks and I don't feel the crawling through my scalp anymore. But, either way, that's only temporary. I wake up and feel it all over again.

Have you seen a dermatologist?

lol, yeah, like three of them. They say my scalp looks healthy. Then, they try to prescribe me more finasteride. haha I've never even met a dermatologist that knows half as much as I do about Androgenetic Alopecia. It's f*****g depressing.

Keep trying with different dermatologists.

When I was 16, and went on rogaine, there was a period when my scalp would itch like CRAZY. I was going absolutely nuts. I would look forward to school as school would take my mind off the itching. Medicated shampoos were not helping much. My older bro had undergone a similar issue. I secretly took his prescription (did not tell my parents as I was sure they would cut off the rogaine), and got the medicated cream. It solved the itching issue. Somehow my dad later found out I had bought the cream, I tried to brush it off "oh I had some minor itching, so I thought I'd get this cream?"

If you want, I can ask my dad what was in the cream.

thanks for you input and concern man!! Sure, I would like to know. I am done with derms, and actually all docs in general when it comes to my hair loss and scalp inflammation. I was prescribed finasteride by a derm. I took finasteride for a year. My scalp has been going crazy since. All other blood levels are normal, and my scalp looks clean and healthy... that's pretty much all they can do. The one thing I dread more than going completely bald is to become that person that eternally seeks the answer the an unanswerable question. Hair loss has destroyed me enough.

I will see if he remembers.
