I remember reading a stat that in the next 20 (? arbitrary # since I forgot the true one) there will be no actual chinese left. The demand for females due to this has created a trade for North Korean women to be imported to China as brides for men. Mostly the lower income rural ones though. Its sad for the women because they believe they are leaving NK for a better life but usually end up abused by drunken farmers. This has caused a diminished bloodline of the actual chinese bloodline.

I would think in China for the last 10 years I would have rather had a daughter because then you can marry her up into a better family. They say the men were able to take care of the parents which is why they wanted them but really with no wives they will probably forget their parents in no short time
