Went clothes shopping yesterday.
I couldn’t tell if those mustard-coloured pants were a good fit … I don’t think I’ve ever worn skinny pants? I tried them on, the guy working there and a woman shopping there said they looked good, they were passionate, I said I’d take pictures to think about it, put them back. I then went back into the store 20 minutes later and bought the pants. I figured it may not be perfect, but I should experiment since I’m buying a new wardrobe soon, and even if they’re too tight, then just losing 5 lbs will make them perfect.
I'm supposed to wait till I get back to NA to buy clothes, but I needed emergency clothing, nothing I own fits, so I got two shirts, a sweater, a pair of pants.
I think this is the first time since 2006 that I buy pants size 34 or below. I was nervous putting them on, worried that they wouldn't close. They closed fine. It was a huge relief. I'd like to get to size 32.
The guy working there said he was proud of me for coming back, he asked if I had lost weight. I said yes. He told me he used to be big too. He said people who used to be fat tend to always buy baggy clothes, and it takes a while to lose that mentality. I said buying skinny clothes would help me lose the fat man mentality.
