You know, at the risk of getting flamed here, I always find this "go-to" advice to be hilarious and rather sad...the whole "go lift, bro!" advice.

I mean, I get it. Hair loss blows and this way you can focus on making other parts of you look good and maybe feel better about yourself looking in the mirror every day. It's just that, for most men, this is a "If I stick to this higher calorie diet, go to the gym everyday and get 'jacked', women won't care that I'm bald!"

Nope, you're still a butterface, largely thanks to your hairloss and it's obvious to literally everyone that you being jacked is an attempt to cope and create a diversion that isn't even in the same county as "subtle".

Being bald is one thing. But being bald with a huge keloid like scar on your top scalp is another...

I can't even be normal bald if I wanted.

f*** sakes..

All of these gymcel references are becoming tiresome.

Why is it such an issue to some people on here that certain members have an interest in being fit and healthy? As if that's such a garbage thing to strive for lmao

For the record, I got into physical fitness years before I noticed I was losing my hair. It literally has no correlation with hair apart from me wanting to improve myself in as many ways as possible.

But that's ok. You can all have fun having dad bods at 35 and getting winded from a brisk walk when you're 40.

Yep. I've been into sports and fitness since I was a kid. I have no intention of ever stopping. If women like my physique as a by product of what I do then great. I think there's a lot of jealousy here from some in that regard. People who maybe don't have either the motivation or the know how to get themselves in shape.

I love being huge and ripped. I could give two sh*t's if a women cares? But from experience almost every women loves it. I do it for myself, ever since I started the driving factor was always to be bigger for myself.

I guess if you go bald then lift you are coping but that was never the case for me.

I am so glad literally 95% of men have garbage bodies. Whenever I walk into a room I know I an the most ripped and fittest. Feels good.

Its more for yourself then anyone else. Anyone who has been in this game for awhill can understand. The pump feels so good, and when you look good it feels even better. Everytime I get a pump I am that much better then I was the previous day. I keep trascendinf and leveling up.

Been lifting for over 6 years! Can't get enough. The beta cuck copes can keep believing in there dellusions. They will never understand how awesome lifting weights is

Being "ripped" isn't the same as being "healthy" as it is just converting calories that would otherwise become fat into repairing and building muscle. Lots of these guys can't run half a block before they're out of breath because all they do is muscle building exercises. I went on a hike through the mountains last year with some friends and one guy wouldn't go because "It's bad for my gains".

I've always kept myself in good shape without the need of being a hulking mass of muscle - so yes, I'm sure I'll be enjoying those dad-boobs at 35

In my country, most people aren't fat anyway. Maybe this gym obsession makes sense in countries where a lot of people are fat so having some muscle puts you at an advantage. Here I see everyday old people ripped with huge arms from doing physical work everyday.

To this bodybuilding nuts, you're either ripped, or you must have a dad bod.

There's no middle-ground possible. You know, you can't just be a normal guy swimming or being physically active.

No, you have to lift weights, otherwise you're fat and coping.
Whether you're middle ground or fanatical with any exercise, as long as you are doing it for yourself and not pushing others who have no interest to do so, I think it's beneficial. And dad bods/dad boobs just happen sometimes with age, regardless of weight lifting.

Take your own situation and then apply it to everybody. Smart. <= Come on h.l, you know want to!

What is it with weightlifters and solipsism? They think that because they find lifting weights in front a mirror awesome, everyone else has to.

"Been playing the guitar for over 9 years, can't get enough. Whenever I play, women melt. Feels good. In my experience, every woman loves it! (not true by the way, same with muscles)

The alpha cucks (?) can keep believing in their delusion. They'll never understand how awesome playing an instrument is."

For the hundredth time, to each their own, to each their strengths.

You can't be like "hey I love doing this, and everyone else who doesn't is a moron!"

He is "ripped" (if it can be applied to 5'6) NW0

Amen to that. The effect is magnified if you're tall and muscular too. Dominate the room. Sometimes I like to go on Omegle just to make the panties drop, feelsgoodman

It's true.one of my beat mates simply pulls on the fact that he is 6'3 & jacked. His face is not conventionally handsome yet he seems to always get a Womens attention.

Of course, we would need an alternate universe to prove this.

Lol, I wish we could see all the different versions of ourselves going through life, then we could get to the bottom of these importance of looks/hair/physique debates:

You with hair, you bald with muscles, you short, Dante with thick wrists, etc

Tall + ability to grow muscles = good genes.

So of course he's going to attract women.

It all depends on the whole package, your face shouldn't be below average though.

Studies have shown that a woman can know everything she needs to know about your compatibility with her by looking at your face.

Not at your body, and she won't give a f-ck about your height either. She mostly cares about your face.

And that's quite easy to demonstrate.

Create a Tinder account with a jacked body (don't show the guy's face) and put 6'3.

Now create an account with a pretty boy with a twink or normal body (don't mention height).

We all know which account will get way, way more matches.

And almost all women will demand a picture of your face before they agree to meet.

Bodybuilding is just another cope.

The truth is, shook, you would attract the same women if you had never set foot in a gym and just had a normal body.

Of course, we would need an alternate universe to prove this.

At a young age It's a cope. People using tinder are young. When you're young It's all about the face, height, and low bodyfat. But when you hit 30+ It's not, almost every single man will not be naturally lean. You'll have to be "fit" or at least bigger when you're past 30. Someone please post a picture of someone who is 30+, straght up skinny and looks good. Proabably wont find anything.
Also, starting to build some muscels young is still a good thing to do, beacuse it will be alot harder to do so at 30 with 20% body fat.
