Yep it's early thinning, but it doesn't look worse than your baseline pic to me though. My crown looks exactly the same as yours, I have the exact same crown whirl too.
Thanks … yes , my worry is now how advanced it will accelerate in thinning now . I worry that the 0.5mg finasteride I was on the last 4 years is now losing effect and finasteride no longer works for me , hence the recent increase in thinning at the crown …

been on 1mg finasteride the past three months but not noticed any impact … in fact I’m noticing I’m shedding more hair whereas I hadnt noticed any hair shedding previously !

Should I have seen some improvements or halt in progression of thinning three months in ? I feel like more hair than ever has fallen out today …

You don't have aggressive male pattern baldness. You will be a full head for decades if you keep taking finasteride at full dose and add minoxidil if you start to really lose some ground. If you don't believe me ask @irishpride86.

What does a full head mean though as I have evident thinning on the crown as you can see from the posted pics ?

It means you have no real noticeable hair loss. Nobody irl is gonna look at your crown and think that you're balding. Most people won't notice it at all.

See I think they would as I’m a firm believer in whatever the camera sees under harsh lighting is how the naked eye sees things

here is my crown and hairline as of today … 5 months since increasing the dose. Has it got any worse ?

Might as well upload your pictures on imgur or something, because mods haven't fixed the problem of pictures not showing up yet.

Stop worrying about your hair. I'd also stop taking strong systemetic hormone altering drugs. Your hair is fine. Especially for 35. There are people on this forum that are actually going bald.

Do you think ?
You need to get off these forums and do something productive.

It's hard to tell from the photos because you insist on taking them in the worst possible light - by your own admission. But whether you have any balding or not, you look far better than any average 35 year old, so you should worry less than any average 35 year old.

If you have any male pattern baldness at all, it's extremely minimal. How do I know? Because if it wasn't it would be f--king obvious by your age. And it's not.

But the only one that can really judge is yourself. If you really think you're not being delusional, then I strongly recommend a very mild treatment, if only to set your own mind at ease. Topical minoxidil and nizoral shampoo. Definitely no systematic hormone altering drugs. That would be crazy. For the record, I think you're being delusional. You have better-than-average hair for someone your age and do not look like you're going bald.

If it gets worse in your 40s, you're still doing better than the average guy on the street. So just chill the f--ck out.

Also better than average hair for your age always confuses me … I’m mid 30s … it’s not like I’m in my 70s where most men have experienced hair loss so I never get this better than average hair than most your age comment

Maybe I confused you with someone else. One of you guys with a full head of hair was posting saying they always try and use light that makes them look as bald as possible or something.

Anyway, your hair looks thin-ish but not thinning, if you not what I mean. It looks like you have fine hair but are not going bald. If you were, you'd know for sure by 35.
