Pas (I think) is off everything if I am not mistaken except minoxidil.

I think Nadya (who is back now) is on a lot of things also and is doing well with her hair.

The problem is I have to take a higher-risk birth control pill with any anti-andgroen medications.
I am 45 so the high risk pills (progesteron/estrogen instead of the testosterone ones) will up my risks even higher for blood clots and strokes..my Endo had a female patient 40 die from this type of birth control pill.
The other safer brith control pills are really bad for hair loss since it blocks estrogen so hair will actually fall out from those birth control pill.
What happened to me with just 2 weeks on spironolactone without birth control pill is it made my period (sorry guys) sit in my uterus for 3 months maybe longer and I almost had to go get a procedure to remove that since it's not healthy to stay like that for long.

I am very lucky--for now but definitely need to do something in not too distant future to prevent future loss if I can.

Yeah but like I said when you have diffuse spotty hair loss all over then the Norwood scale doesn't really mean a whole lot for you. You can still have hair all the way up to your hairline and so technically NW1 but if it's so sparse and rare that it looks like straw then it still looks awful grown out and you have to shave even though you're technically a NW1.

This is true. I know many men whose balding stopped at around Norwood 4 - 5.

I don't know why but after having one of the serious hairloss among this forum,my hair fall have decreased to minimum level after suffering this pain for about 12/15 years.
(I had vertex balding first,mobile phones don't even had 2 megapixel at that time,lol 2003).



My donor area is pretty safe.

So hope hair follicles cloning technology comes.(I haven't read about it but it can be blessing even at norwood 6.)

You can't fear monger other readers off finasteride if you don't at least have something beyond anecdotal to back it up. I highly doubt you have a circle of 200 buddies and know that finasteride made 150 dicks fall off.

I'm very open minded about how effective or disastrous finasteride can be, but from seeing varying results I'd say at least 70% maintain or grow, possibly up to 90%, nothing wrong with Dench's numbers.

The only "90% GET ED" results turned out to be incredibly biased, which makes me think there's a flip agenda for some as well. If I saw a study group come out with say, 30% success rate (maintain or better) and there were no other factors of suspicion, I'd be open to that too, but there's no way we're seeing test results consistently in a majority success rate and then these handful of other test showing it's a complete disaster.

Anyway, at least put a number on it Bucky, or an article/study if you want.

A full NW7 with thin donor is the exception, you don't see many of those around.

And when you do, it's almost always the fat Steve Balmer type.

For me, the final destination is a slick NW6 with high sides.

If you're lucky to stop at NW4 like some people I know, I consider you saved.

You can easily get a NW2.5 thick natural frontal third with a couple of FUE megasessions.

But of course, the guys I know who are in that situation just keep their wispy NW4.

The justification of one of them? "My wife says we have more important expenses to worry about right now, like buying an apartment!"

And here I am counting every single graft to fix a NW6.

Perhaps all three of your reasons are valid. Frank Medrano and Zinedine Zidane are bald NW6-NW7. None of them are fat. Same goes for Andres Iniesta, bald and far from fat.

I dare say medrano and zidane being athletes has more to do with their continued leaness than balding does. My brother is bald and fat as f*** because he eats a lot of sh*t every day, drinks coke by the 2 liter bottles and doesnt exercise.
