Do I Have A Bald Spot Or Just Regular Crown?

Yeah, still looks ok. But you are only 21 and I fear you are gonna bald fast. As I said, your type of thinning can look ugly very fast (like 15 to 18 months).

I don't know why it looks like that. I can see my skin on top with bright lightning but with normal lightning like on the last picture it doesn't look like it's thinning to me. It could be my imagination or me trying to deny it but maybe the fact that i got black hair with a white skin enhances the lightning effect. I only see a bald spot on the crown

Well, if you want it to stay like that, you should take action. I know why it looks like that: You are going bald!

Finasteride responds very well to your type of hairloss.

Okay good. Can you recommend a webshop or a specific type of finastride product that i can use? Also can it restore what I've lost?
Thanks in advance

Bilott, show your hairline. Pull the bangs back. It can tell us what Norwood level you are at. You might have fine hair so it looks diffuse.

Hope this is visible enough

You are starting to recede and are close to NW2. So you still have a good chance to reverse some loss and maintain but I would consult with a hair loss specialist instead of just ordering it online without seeing one. With diffuse thinning sometimes you might have a thyroid issue too.

Yes. I'm still sure that i only have a bald spot on the crown. My hairline is not straight but it also doesn't have the typical rounded bald corners. I'm not su

I don't know. Been watching my hair since i was 18. Hairline and frontal hair didn't change since then. (Noticed bald spot just today so i don't know if it was already there) Also I've seen girls and teens with a similar hairline like mine. I don't know if the hairline is receding or that it could be natural? Please correct me if I'm wrong & thanks for trying to help me

With what specific pills did you achieve all this? You mentioned those 1mg pills but you still didn't use them.

I take 1.25 mg daily; I break my 5 mg from Walgreens into 4ths. I bought the 1 mg Finasteride pills online as "back up" finasteride.

The lightening is not great. Too be fair you need a lot more light to see what is happening. Regardless, if you go to a hair loss specialist they can tell you for sure what is happening. You don't have a straight hairline so you might be forming a mature hairline which is not considered a NW1.

You have poor lighting so no light is reflecting enough off your scalp to see how diffuse it is. If you show us a wet photo of your hair with good lighting in the bathroom we care really tell.

thinning IMO, you can almost make out the double crown forming in one of those pics you posted in the OP. That is a dead giveaway. Also in one of ur front on pics it is also quite obvious because of how easily you can see through to the scalp.

Okay. I'm planning to go on finasteride but i'm a bit scared for shedding. Does it really occur and is it really a lot?

Bilott: have you been shedding before? I mean before you started any treatment? I have similar state to you and in my case it was the result of quite big shedding for months.
