It's painfully obvious that this guy is just coping.
Of course I am coping, but I am also very realistic. Most of you live in a dream-fantasy, because the hard truth would crush your fragile mind.

We have already seen some fortunate people be cosmetically "cured" of the condition via wound neogensis (albeit a primitive form of it) and aggressive, hormone altering regimens.
That's why Trump is using Finasteride.
You know, Trump, the billionaire and POTUS.

It's really not a question of "if" it is possible at this point, but rather a question of "when".
I agree.

Does this guy realize that follica is in phase 3? Lol or that Sheseido is in the equivalence to phase 3? Or that topical finasteride is in phase 3? Or that 6 different legit companies have entered the hair regeneration field since I joined this form (in 2015)?

Get out of here lol. Times are changing for the better. We won't have a cure, but there will be something better in the next 3 years

Who is doing topical finasteride phase 3 trial?

I ask because my Dr is going to give me topical finasteride to try. Would like to see the phase 2 results.

I am doing a doctorate in the fields of bio-technology & process engineering, so don't tell me about education.
The truth is: the way from the experimental laboratory to a marketed product is long, especially in the field of bio technology.
You can't watch half an episode of Dr. Mcstuffins and think your going to get a degree little guy it doesn't work that way. Your still what like a freshman in high school we might want to think of a alternative paths for you bud I mean you did make an account on here to start this thread so let's get real here biotech is little steep.

Big 3 will still be THE WAY TO GO in the year 2040. Deal with it. Don't be delusional, relax! ;)

Phenelzine (Nardil) and Tranylcypromine (Parnate) are still the most effective antidepressants & anxiolytics and they have been around for 60 years. There hasn't been anything better for the last 60 years, although pharma is putting billions of dollars in the development of newer & better antidepressants.

No one can predict what is going to happen even in the next five years.
when you say there will be no cure in the next thirty years, that means you know something that most of the people in this fourm doesn't know about, and even the scientists and pharmas companies wasting time and money to fail at the end.

and you don't even give a scientific reason why they would fail, many people on here built their hopes on studies and trials results, not assumptions, so don't waste the time in a pointless argument, give a logical and scientific reason why there would be no cure.

Caserini has done much of the work, if you want to read about it. He is affiliated with the aforementioned company, Polichem. Here's one of his latest papers that he put up publically via researchgate.

https://www.researchgate.net/profil...ndrogen-levels-in-healthy-male-volunteers.pdf

I am adding topical .5% finasteride this week so I am trying to gain as much information as possible.

seems it works but for men it still goes systemic enough to effect them if sensitive to sides so not worth risk for some.

For women it seems only negative is IF getting pregnant while on it.
I am not going to get pregnant I take precautions.

If i see positive results I will make a post in womens section.

Because bro, back 30-50 years ago they didn't cure it and they tried some stuff and it didn't work so it'll be just the same until the sun burns out.

It's like how the first attempts at flying hundreds of years ago failed miserably and now we have to walk everywhere or get in our rowboats to cross the ocean and scury is still an epidemic.

What's your opinion about Tsuji?

It's definitely promising, although their time table is way too overenthusiastic. There are still some problems, i.E. the expansion of the epithelial bulge stem cells & DPC. They first have to overcome those problems before human trials can begin. I admit it's very promising research, but it will take some time for a final "product" to be marketed. If I had to guess, I would say at least 20 years from now on. They haven't even started pre-clinical trials yet. If they can't solve the aforementioned problems, then no cure is coming...

Don't feed the (balding) troll.
I am the only non-troll in this thread.

I love that he starts the thread comparing hair loss with deppresion but when someone talks about the advances in cancer field he goes: "cancer and hair loss are not the same thing"
how much money is put into cancer research and how much into hair loss research?

For a woman it is progress.
for a woman it might be, but for men it's not really working.
Many men have been trying topical Finasteride over the last few years and it didn't really work.
