Yeah and they usually stick with you for life as well, much more loyal than other types of friends. Most of my current friends are friends I've had since elementary school

It's the same with me. I remember when I dropped out of my initial degree because I wanted to do something else, something more productive and lucrative, noone supported me apart from my friends. I could crash on their couch and they believed in me. Now I'm doing good, and one of my friends is sleeping in my guestroom because his girl dumped him. That sh*t is real friendship. Love almost tbh, not in a gay sense, in a brotherly sense

True enough, but things were much more spontaneous back then. People were less estranged from each other. Less hostile towards each other as well. Now everything has become so polarised ( men vs women, normies vs incels, the left vs the right, islam Vs the west, migrants vs ...). Politics have always existed of course, but now it permeates everything

Most young people define themselves by what they oppose
after everyone has to get a job, you just got way less time and thats about it...
then on top, most people you meet are most likely going to have friends and wont be looking for more (that is it in my case)...

like every time i hear about people who cant make friends, they just start way too late and that make sh*t harder...
you can be lucky, but dont expect too much at like late 20s...
