Most can attain full coverage over the balding area with their available donor. The fact is he'll be better off in the long term with a few transplants. Why do you f*****g idiots think that more than 1 transplant long term is the end of the world?

80% chance he'll maintain over the next decade, subsequent to that 95% chance his donor will attain borderline full coverage on the balding area if it ever came to that, he also has the option of dutasteride down the track, and liklihood of further treatments.

A derm isn't a hair transplant doctor and most haven't bothered to read any studies on finasteride. You said yourself you've maintained for 13 years on it.

And yes I am smarter than the average derm, that isn't particularly difficult.

Anyone that got a hair transplant at 22 fucked up. If I can convince one kid not to get a hair transplant I saved a kids life from looking like an insecure "guy that got hair plugs" later in his life where he looks worse that before.

I also offer evidence backed by the medical studies regarding finasteride, unlike these two throwing out anecdotal evidence backed by nothing. Crystalclear couldn't find a single example of a person who went to a top surgeon in their early 20s while on finasteride where it amounted to a poor decision long term.
