You're only as old as you feel bro. You got that house paid off. Spend all that extra cash making up for lost time and have some lavish parties or holidays. Weekend trip to Amsterdam or Barcelona perhaps?

[quote="s.a.f":975gyfhc]I can only agree with Dudemon, I've also been there I wasted my entire 20's hiding away because of hairloss. While others were out living life I dedicated myself to working and working out (I guess I was abit of a CCS).

Okay so you didnt interact with others during this period but you worked out alot. Wasn't that a plus? What do you think you ought to have done in your 20's
Not really, :dunno: yes I'm in great shape especially compared to most people my age, but whats it worth?
Also after a decade of working without spending, I'm pretty well set up financially I own property, shares ect but in terms of life its not really a plus.
I dont see any of the people who were having the time of their lives in their 20's (partying, casual sex, travelling ect) regretting the fun they had and wishing that they had led my lifestyle.
Maybe I would have been married by now if I'd joined in and I'd probably have some great memories and a sense of fulfillment.[/quote:975gyfhc]

It's confessions like that which are the reasoning behind me rolling the dice and getting a hair transplant young. I would spend years squirreled away, and for nothing... just because I'm afraid of someone else's opinions.

Shouldn't regret your previous situation though S.a.f, some people live entirely meaningless lives, wasting the entire thing. In the grand scheme of things 10 or so years isn't much. Some never even realize it until it's too late to do anything about it. And I personally don't view being a slutty 20 something as meaningful.. Although It's what I may end up doing. In reality most people end up wasting years and years, If you live an average life expectancy and you've only wasted a decade or two then your not much different from anyone else. Most people just don't do it all at once :)

I dont feel old physicly but I also realise that at 34 its just not the same as at 21. You can only have that excitment and feeling of youthful freedom, (you know rushing headlong into the unknown) at 1 stage of your life, but since I cant really hang out with the youngsters my socialising is pretty restricted to the odd night out and a few tame house parties with other people my age.

This is why I'm trying to smack some sense into CCS :smack: with his dumb ideas of working his way up to what he thinks is the neccesary standard for attractivness to women, he's just lettiing the prime years of his life slip away. You've got to make the most of it while you're still young, you dont get a 2nd chance.

Theres so much pressure to make the most of your youth though, people always look back to their 20's as the most fun decade of their lives. Its hard knowing that you missed out on that whole experience.
I'm learning to accept whats happened now and feel better about things than I did a few years ago. I realise I've still got a lot to be thankful for and there's still hope for the future but I feel like there's a missing piece of the puzzle a chunk of my life that I lost its almost like I was in prison for my 20's and I've just been released and trying to start living again, but I've got to catch up with everybody else.
