I grew up in a religious environment, which may contribute to me taking wigs for granted.

The converse though, is the reason for why women cover up their hair. Covering up their hair is synonymous with hiding their beauty.

Orthodox Jewish women have to be covered beyond the arms and knees, can't show their hair if they're married, and can't sing in front of men who are not family. They also can't be alone in a room with a man who is not family, and cannot touch a man who is not family.

When should I wear a wig? When is it more appropriate? Should I wait and risk to have peoplenotice something has drastically change? Should I do it now, an maybe it will not be that surprising to my collegues and friends?

I feel you. You are so young! I am so sorry for you. I am a bit older than you but I am also very scared to date or to let someone come close. I don't go to hairdresser anymore. I do it myself! You should see me bang girl, it's hilarious! If toppik is okay for now, try not to think about it too much. Just do wathever you can and keep in mind wings are not a piece of joy, though they make it seem more and more natural. It s a lot of maintenance, though.

My derm is quite liberal and prescribed me 200mg spironolactone, Diane 35 and 5mg finasteride. I didn't take Diane 35. He said it's not obvious I have Androgenetic Alopecia or not but it's the most likely scenario for now. I thought about doing a scalp biopsy but that'll be £700 upwards
minoxidil didn't work for me. It was kinda weird that my hair loss went down since I started and stopped minoxidil. I still lose a lot of hair but not as much as before. I have no regrowh.

It's a bit narrow minded to dismiss religious traditions as stupid. The fact is many if not most religious customs survived because they served important goals like group cohesion, etc. In the Orthodox example, an evolutionary explanation is pretty obvious. Restricting access to your females meant less risk of cuckoldry, hence your genes would more likely be passed on.

Such rules are always hilariously stupid from the little details, in this case they felt the need to clarify that even though a woman basically can't breathe in front of other men, it must be made clear that they can't f*****g sing in front of other men.
