Bicalutamide is a powerful AR antagonist that is mainly used in the treatment of prostate cancer, and sometimes in transgender women. That sounds scary, and it should. Bicalutamide is a powerful compound that, when used correctly, completely blocks AR-signaling in non-mutated(i.e. every cell that is not cancerous) cells. Bicalutamide has an IC50 of about 160nM, which is about 100 times weaker than DHT. However, with correct administration this can be overcome because the local concentration of Bicalutamide will be thousands of times higher than that of DHT. The merit of Bicalutamide is that it has a 7 day half life, so it builds up in serum and tissue with repeated administration.

Shall I continue?
You seem to not understand. Bicalutamide is 100 times weaker than DHT and you need a proper dosage. Proper dosage is not 50mg bica for a normal male levels of DHT or T. Maybe you should keep reading books cause you do not seem to understand what you read.

Wish it worked for me, but unfortunately it didn't and my last chance is this extreme combo.

I never said it was lmao where you getting off putting words in my mouth well I guess that’s the only chance you have of putting anything in anyone’s mouth xD
Bro you was talking like the guy who was gonna try the bica would grow or maintain hair on 25-50 mg bica alone and that won't work. You need medium to low end Testosterone to inhibit it all with 50 mg daily bica and low dht or very low Testosterone and DHT to make bica works at 25 mg. So no you didn't directly said it but you kinda said it indirectly.

but then i would masculinize in other unfavorable ways... such a fate would be fine for the average man but i wouldn't be able to live like that... masculinization=atrophy=pure destruction
Might I ask what is your BMI if you don't mind to tell? I'd understand if you dont want to since they are lot of trolls here.

dude majority people don't need hrt
I talked about my case. I tried everything before going on HRT. In a month I will try something that I didn’t try before HRT: RU. If RU doesn't stop my hair loss, I will be forced to use HRT for the rest of my life because the side effects of HRT are much more bearable than hair loss.
In my experience, Bicalutamide does nothing for hair loss. When I used 100mg of Bicalutamide with Duta, I continued to go bald. When I switched to HRT and stopped Bicalutamide for a while, my progress did not slow down.
All cases of regrowth on Bicalutamide also include the use of estradiol; It is he who performs all the functions, reducing testosterone and DHT. The benefits of Bicalutamide for hair in this protocol are questionable. I use it for its effects on the skin: it reduces the oiliness of the skin, even if we are talking about VERY OILY SKIN. 50 mg per day solved all my facial skin problems. Bicalutamide reduces skin oiliness, like retinoids, but does not cause the side effects of retinoids in the form of excessive dryness and bleeding of the lips.
All my life I suffered from incredibly oily skin: 5 minutes after washing my face my face was shiny, and after half an hour fat was dripping from my chin and getting into my eyes, it was unbearably painful... I'm glad I started going bald, because baldness introduced me to Bicalutamide, which got rid of this problem for me, lol.
Because of this sebum secretion, I had blackheads on my face and huge pores. If you turn to cosmetologists, they will say that the problem is in your care, but their products and procedures are of no use. Now they ask me how I achieved such skin, but I don’t take care of it, I just got rid of the androgenic effect on the skin and don’t do any coping.

There is a common misconception on this thread that there is some justification for only using HRT when you have Norwood grade 3+ baldness. It is not true.
The power of your current protocol comes not from how your hair loss is treatable. I started HRT on Norwood 1 because I knew nothing else was helping me and the sooner I stopped it the better.
Once you discover that you are going bald, your job is to find a treatment that stops it. If you're not an coping idiot and not using vitamins and oils, the order is something like this: Finasteride, Dutasteride, Dutasteride + RU, HRT. For each option no more than 6 months for testing. It always took me 3 months to notice that I was continuing to go bald. If you started going bald at a young age, you should start right away with Duta. Or you can start with Duta + RU, grow as much as you can and try to remove RU and see if you start going bald with only Duta. Soon I will do the same thing, only I will switch from HRT to RU + Duta.
