Estradiol alone is not enough to stop my skin from being oily. I use Bika because it reduces oiliness, tightens pores and improves skin condition. 37.5mg 3 times a week.
Well, i mean, using lifelong bica can only be justified if you tried all the other (safer) options IMO. Especially if its only used for oily skin. Especially considering it can fk up your liver pretty fast at any time basically.
What i would of done first:
Get on Duta 0.5 + high dose of Zinc for like 2 months.
If no improvements, add rectal Progesterone (it can make things better or worse tho, about 50/50). Melatonin before sleep with Prog (its optional, good for sleep and helped me somehow counter cortisol and adrenalin, which are both bad for skin if elevated).
If still no improvement, stop Prog and here goes blood tests. Sex hormone tests i mentioned in the other post + DHT and thyroid panel can be done in Lab4u for example, for pretty cheap. All the others (CMP, CBC, lipids), can be done in polyclinic for free if you're from Russia (if im not mistaken). Adrenal and thyroid tests you dont need to take often, but they are good to know anyways at least once in you life.
Tests could show elevated Prolactin for example, that Cabergoline could handle pretty quickly. Boron or Tongkat for elevated SHBG. For adrenal problems, corticosteroids could help. All those are safer than bica if used properly, IMO, and thats just a few examples.
