I read that. It does raise the risk, however it's not as large as a risk as taking it orally. Using it topically, injected or sublingually/buccally avoids the first pass through the liver. It would be advisable to use it topically since it has a longer elimination half-life. However, it doesn't give as great as a dose. They are both equally great.

Thank you, ill get both, so as planned i'll start by taking 1mg Estradiol Buccally in the morning (whenever i wake up) and then again 1mg 12 hours later, everyday? Or only a few times a week?. in regards to estrogel, how often should i apply it? does it matter if the estrogen i get is bio identical ?

Yeah i know, it only started when i i started taking spironolactone just over a month ago. I have read it can go away though, otherwise it's something i can deal with, not much of a problem really.
