You look a lot younger when you were 17 than me now lol.

I'm getting old too fast
Well, I was a good athlete but I was a runt at 170 cm or 5' 6". I am not broad so that makes me look younger or insubstantial might be a better term.

From prom king to incel in three years was my fear. Luckily, I halted things at 20 and a half. Have I recovered from the loss of my juvenile hairline in 36 years? No, I have not. This is my white whale.

Anyone whom I can help avoid that terrible pain, just ask. I am not a miracle worker but sometimes things just can be hashed out and clarified regarding goals. I sought estrogen in 1984 but my doctor said no so that was the path not taken for me.

What do you think is safer: 100g of spironolactone per day with Bicalutamide, or Bicalutamide + estradiol?
What dose of estradiol do you think is needed for hair growth? The minimum dose. Perhaps I will consider this in the future, because I do not see the consequences that would be more negative than baldness

I wouldnt touch estrogens. See if you can tolerate spironolactone. If you cant than see 2mg e2 as your last resort. And I wouldnt go over 2mg.

I'm not sure if spironolactone will give a noticeable improvement. And no one doubts estrogen. Although seeing people continue to go bald even on 150mg of Bicalutamide, it makes me sad. Especially due to the fact that their type of baldness is similar to mine and started at the same age ...

Wait. Still going bald on 150mg Bica? Can you send me a link to those posts!? Haha

50mg should put off all androgenic effects in your body..., mate, you scare me away. If not even bica stops it, then its not androgenic driven. Tf

Doesn't spironolactone increase SHBG?

You still should consider that bica is also used for castrated man in PC...

So the lesser the T, the better the binding for bica to the AR.

But chemically castration is not our goal (your's and mine).

T will be reduced with Estradiol. Since our goal is regrowth, not feminization, we can only use small doses to reduce T. For example, @Yar uses only 1.5 in combination with spironolactone 50mg, which is much weaker than Bicalutamide. Maybe even 1mg is enough in my case, but I don’t know, because I don’t understand estrogens and their dosages

@Jacob Williams
He also started to go bald early, his pattern of baldness is exactly the same as mine, so I am afraid that I will face the same problem. He uses 150mg of Bicalutamide. I don't know if this is better than 50mg + Estradiol.

Wait what!? I thought he uses 50mg... 150mg is waay too much! Not good for the liver.
And he still loses ground on 150mg?

I wrote to him personally to clarify his regime. I will write when he answers me

Meanwhile, an old forum member Ikarus used 200mg spironolactone, 0.5mg Duta and 2mg Estradiol.
Since Bicalutamide is much stronger than spironolactone, perhaps 1mg will be enough for me

You need estrogen if you want to restore a juvenile or establish a female hairline. In a male context, maybe AA's would work some but people have to realize Bica equals estrogen. Now that's a simplification meaning don't think you are not female by eschewing estrogen and then using dangerous AA's. 90 days tops and then you have to stop AA's if they are unopposed. spironolactone was way more feminzing in terms of sides like intense fatigue and weakness.

Yeah bica is actually a weak estrogen tbh.

It stops androgen working in your body but raises e2 2× so yeah. I wonder why people cant halt their loss with bica, or even get small regrowth. Bica is far more effective than finasteride+minoxidil tbh. You adress the direct problem and even give a chance to let it regrow (raised e2 levels). Far more effective=far more risks.

But the cool thing about bica is that it wont cause osteoporosis, muscle retention, fat redistribution, ED etc. In theory, you could stay on it for ever and stay freezed in 'before-puberty' mode. The only hurdle is the hepatotoxic feature of it. Hm

You sound like an expert on bica. At one time I heard it was the hair AA. Half of what I know is by osmosis so I thank your for your treatment of the subject.

I want to tell everyone else that in order to stop your hair, you need to review your diet, exclude products with a high glycochemical index.Soda, sweet tea, sweet rolls, candy and chocolate.Everything that contains high sugar!
