My, my. I wonder if gay bottoms go on HRT more willingly than straight guys. Pretty soon it will be a standard request for the bottom partner to go on HRT for those who are non-versatile. How far have we come? Is it worse to be a gay XY or is it worse to be an MtF XY in terms of, I guess, humiliation. by male friends? I sort of see bottoms as being in the same dynamic as MtF "sissies" which is a growing movement since gay marriage became legal, it seems.

My joke about coming out is that when speaking to my father, I opened with, "hey, at least I still like chicks" but he didn't get the joke.

I'm pansexual myself but prefer guys.

The one thing that I have heard from some formerly gay men who go on HRT is that they think that it interferes with dating because a person's pheromones change and it is true that females, like children have less distinctive odors. But at the same time, what does it even mean to be formerly gay but now an MtF? My feeling is that conflicted "straight" men prefer MtF's to guys and many of them prefer MtF's over women as well. Paradoxically, perhaps, getting SRS might actually diminish dating opportunities for MtF's. Top guys can get non-man-made pussy anywhere and rarely have fetishes about vaginas but immaculate, hairless, and attractive small-dicked MtF's seem to me to be much more in demand than run of the mill vaginas. Not saying things should be this way but it is a consideration. Also being attractive but not quite passing might help dating opportunities because otherwise how are the males going to find you?

So a lot of this stuff is much more complicated in terms of making choices than people might think.
Huh?

In general, the fact that I did not respond to Bicalutamide lowers my chances of success with HRT. The remaining androgens will be able to continue destroying my follicles as in female pattern baldness (which my mother has), and I am not responding to Bicalutamide. I'll just hope I'm wrong. The Androgenetic Alopecia has a lot of mechanisms, and nothing at all guarantees success. It is sad.

When I first started on here, I had noticed that the people trying to follow Bridge were often taking AA's without estradiol and I just think that that limits results and progress. The problem is that virtually no doctors know how to manage hair loss/growth via HRT. So, since we are all smart people, we read up and decide on a protocol. I hope that anyone not having success will look at what Bridge's two protocols were and then just adopt one of them without any changes. I think that it is crazy to try to develop one's own protocol in a male context. I think that it is crazy to use estriol instead of estradiol. Virtually no one has success with estriol. If you aren't using oral min, well Bridge was so I added that too.

Turn off your mind, relax and float down stream....

As it turned out, Lena's minimum order is $ 80. This means that ...
I'm starting HRT in a month, b****s.

I will keep E high and drink 25mg Bicalutamide (Although I doubt it does anything at all in my case. All hope for estradiol)

It's really not that bad, especially after 100mg bica

I didn’t give 100mg enough time, but I’m pretty sure Bicalutamide doesn’t work in any dosage. After HRT, I will either accept that I get a little worse, or I will lower E in such a way as to stay in the middle between the hormones. But I do not think that I will feel normal and will avoid major changes due to E. Therefore, after HRT at 6 months, I will simply take Finasteride and 50mg Bicalutamide to reduce skin oiliness and acne, reduce body hairiness
Bicalutamide Is Powerless For Alopecia But Its Effects On Skin Fucked By Androgens Is Bliss

You honestly cant expect hormones and hormone blocking meds to regrow lost hair. It may protect further loss, but regrowth is not a common thing, honestly. I think we discussed this many times before. There is more behind Androgenetic Alopecia than just hormones. It's alteration of hair (life) cycle due to androgens and maybe even more hormones. The hair just degenerates, it ages... dunno how to explain, but what I can say is that regenerative medicine is progressing pretty fast. Keep an eye on that! If you're not actually transgender or any other kind of identity, I would highly draw attention to NOT take estrogen, don't matter what others say here and there.

All my follicles are alive, my hair grows along the Norwood 0 growth line. I start from the moment Junely now has 9 months of HRT. I have a winning position and my follicles are easier to repair. The main thing is that I generally answer this, and the rest will be just a matter of time.

I understand your concerns about estrogen. thought about this for a long time. I made a decision. It's better than suicide. In fact, only the breast worries me, but it can be removed in the future.

Sounds like minoxidil would improve your situation a lot @Almas
Minoxidil is evil, as seen in Noah's example. It does not give long lasting results, once you stop using it, you will lose your hair as if you did not use it. He creates the illusion that the situation is improving.
Estradiol, on the other hand, really restores follicles, gives long-term results and returns your follicles several years ago.
