I live vicariously through you people.

"They never taught us how to live Raven, only how to not die".
I don't mind, you are so nice. Anyway, he did start a major in finance before we met but it didn't fit him I suppose. He has talked about going back to studying in the future so who knows. I will support him whatever the decision

I cope from my loneliness and misery with food, though most of the food I made today I wasn't that excited by.

Start of Italian Brunch cooking class, I was reminded that homemade pasta is not that hard. Follow the 1-2-3-4 rule: 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 cups of flour, and 4 eggs.

We also made bombolini, a favorite of @Roberto_72 and @Pasbrillantebrunette ... they're really nice when they're warm:

This was the meal for Italian Brunch, all carbs, pork, and eggs. We had pasta carbonara, that baked egg thing that I didn't help with, baguette plus tomato sauce plus poached egg, roasted potatoes plus pancetta plus olive oil:

I made this dinner tonight using the ingredients I had available on hand: tuna in olive oil, haloumi and rosemary, Brussel sprouts with parmesan and pine nuts, and some leftover cranberry sauce.

My bitterness toward women waxes and wanes. It did go on the upswing after the season 2 finale of Stranger Things, that dance scene really triggered me. I shouldn't blame women for having treated me badly, but part of me does. I hate the fact that I've had to try so hard at chasing women to get so few results, when others have been liberated to focus on the more meaningful parts of life: career, travel, art, parenting.

I went to the mall to go shopping today. I bought what I was missing: a warm winter sweater, a pair of running shoes, and a better bracelet for my watch. In each case I went cheap, as I didn't feel like I was worth the investment to go fancy. There was a nice cerulean blue cashmere sweater selling for $99 at Nordstrom's, I was going to buy it, and chose not to on the basis of "what do I need this for?"

What did I miss?

Humans are animals.
wait why shouldn't you blame women for treating you badly? when you say treating you badly do you mean romantically rejecting you?

I have been taught not to talk about how much I make but yes, I do make a bit more than he does. Not that much actually. I just think the cashier job is seen as more low class across the world, graphic designer sounds more fancy maybe? He makes a decent amount of money, so do I, enough that we could set up a family and do just fine.

I don't know, he is handsome but not the kind of guy who has girls all over his feet. I haven't asked him about his height but I would guess maybe 182-185 cm. In terms of looks he is a little different from the guys I have dated previously, I usually go for the guys who have a dangerous look but he just looks super sweet. He has a good body and tattoos, blue eyes and dark hair. But he has a very sweet look in his eyes, almost puppy eyes :)
what do you mean "dangerous look"?

It's not productive to be bitter, and ultimately women are a lot like men. It's not as though you or I are willing to be with any ugly but kind woman. You yourself said a few pages back that you were willing to go out with butter faces, as if that's a great sacrifice. Finally, it is also the case that many of my failings are my own fault or by extension, my family's fault.
