It's funny that it blows people's f*****g minds; the idea that it might actually take a considerable amount of time and research to develop technologies and turning discoveries into viable commercial therapies.
As if this hasn't been exactly the case with literally everything in your daily life. It took Edison more than 1,000 attempts to successfully develop the filament for the incandescent lightbulb.
I'm just curious, wtf exactly is an acceptable time period before something is unlikely to be a "scam" to you people?
Example of Edison perfectly shows that that word is corrupted place. It is not about goods but money. Look how he use his power to beat Tesla, who was greater then him in everything. Since I know that most people are willing take this crap like Finasteride or Rogaine it will be hard to put on market something new. Even if it works. I personally believe that Replicel would put the end of Finasteride, but yet problems, and problems and stupid medical requirements that supposedly is taking care for our “health”It's funny that it blows people's f*****g minds; the idea that it might actually take a considerable amount of time and research to develop technologies and turning discoveries into viable commercial therapies.

Jesus! Is Follica turning 10 this year??? When I had a chat with Cotsarelis in 2014 at the Hair Congress, he seemed very much burnt out and disinterested to work on an actual final product to release to the market. He kept mentioning the money and time required to bring something out and how it's almost not worth the effort! He kept giving the Minoxidil example as the holy gospel, saying it took 10 years and 100s of millions of dollars to turn Minoxidil tablets into a lotion to apply topically... I could sense from his tone, Follica is no where near release.
Exactly.money and time are not his primary issues, though. its not having idea/product that could actually work.
butchering your head to get 40 weak hairs on your scalp isnt an actual solution. claiming there is strong science supporting follica is like claiming people can fly because they can jump and stay in air for a second.
This!Yeah and still not dead like it should be...
Things have changed in 5 years.Jesus! Is Follica turning 10 this year??? and expensiveExactly.
Unless it can grow more than fifty hair follicles per cm², RAIN (Follica) is a rather mediocre treatment.
We have no idea how much it'll cost. No point in speculating on that.and expensive
Really ? Lets see , :We have no idea how much it'll cost. No point in speculating on that.
300/400 usd per month. It is a reasonable price.Really ? Lets see , :
1) You will have to go to a clinic for the initial treatment, it will take , lets say an hour ? 2 hours ?
2) Then you will have to buy a device and a " drug " from them. Not possibility for a generic verions
3) You will have to go to the clinic for period checkouts
4) How safe is, in long term, periodically damage your scalp ?
How much you will think this will cost for month ? Lest take a bet, no less than 300 usd per month for a treatment that you don't know if is safe in long term and that, in best case scenario, will not give you a full head of hair and will not treat the main problem that it is causing male pattern baldness.
And, of course, in this cost, they have to amortize 10 years of researchs.
For 25 follicles/cm²?300/400 usd per month. It is a reasonable price.
Follica will grow something more than that. For 25 follicles/cm²?
25 terminal and 75-100 vellus...we need terminal not anything else. We don't have exact results from a final product at the moment so everything is speculation, especially if we think about the fact that we don't know if they manage to release this in 2019Follica will grow something more than that.
Why could not they do it...25 terminal and 75-100 vellus...we need terminal not anything else. We don't have exact results from a final product at the moment so everything is speculation, especially if we think about the fact that we don't know if they manage to release this in 2019
Don't know? Why they don't do it? İs it really possible to gain more? So many questions...Why could not they do it...
For that money you can get a lot more than that with topicals, much, much safer than damage your scalp periodically .Follica will grow something more than that.
