I might have to try some. Finding a styling product that doesn't make my hair look like *** has been tough since the thinning....

V05 reworkable putty
Garnier fructis surfer hair
La coupe stretch fiber
Got2b chaotic molding putty

The V05 is like a cream almost... rub it all over your hands then mess it up in your hair... leave it for 10 mins and it dries sort of half solid, but not rock hard like Gel... comes out of my hair with one wash easily.

Im keen to try this Surf Hair stuff too...

fiber used to be my saving grace, a few years ago, i thought perhaps i was thinning, then i would just put on the fiber, and i would have the thickest head of hair ever. Now, the fiber just doesn't do that anymore :-( if it wasn't for fiber i would have gotten on treatments long ago!!! damn you.

edit: tried the surfer stuff, works pretty well, we'll see if it hold throughout the day.

The only thing about fiber i don't like is it makes your hair a little bit too glossy. But it does thicken up your hair. You could be thining like you said and then put it on and forget about it... same sh*t happend to me.

Vdub you changed my life man, this surfer hair sh*t is amazing (and cheap), my hair looks like it did last year!! seriously dude, thanks. guys, the surfer hair + a little Am Crew fiber touch up + a really good shampoo is a great combo. Give it a try, its like 3 bucks at a drug store. put a tiny bit in after you towel dry your hair, then after its totally dry, just rub it in. when that dries, touch up with the fiber if you want the messy look.

I've bought some as well - haven't tried it yet but I will give my report tomorrow.
