I have a couple thin spots on my head, my gf finally noticed (or built the courage to ask) after ages and asked me if it's the barber. She still said no you don't need a new barber he's good he gives you a really nice haircut, just tell him to go easy on those spots next time.

If she brings it up again I'll just say I need vitamins, B12 or something

but i understand how it is probably to go in a young age from a desirable person to undesirable freak. however. if you go bald 40+ then you have nothing to cry about. but if it is in your 20's its hard. you know why i think nw3+ should just shave their head? this way they get the real reaction they will get soon instead of living in fear

When do you think you'll tell her about having had transplants?

Hopefully, she is not getting to a comfortable stage where she starts asking you some uncomfortable questions.

Are you at least on finasteride to maintain your hair transplant?

Nah my transplant is different

I don't need finasteride for it, would be useless

You should tell her eventually if it lasts long with her, building a relationship on a foundation of lies and deceit is just bad news. Especially when it is something that obviously matters to you.
Our communication is good

I already told her bigger secrets, leaving some mystery is good for the relationship imo

My hair isn't some huge secret that not confessing about could make the relationship fall apart imo

What do you do if you do end up going for a new transplant, or if she finds photos where you're bald?
Old baldly pics = already told her I used to buzz it

If I go for another transplant I'll tell her but I'll find a way to sugarcoat it

We're so deep in sh*t. If you want a gf that is not too dumb after a transplant, you can't tell her you had cosmetic surgery I guess. There are so many parameters that get into this. In the end, lying is the only way...

Just like I don't have to tell her every detail about my past relationships and hookups I also don't have to roll out my hair history imo

Just like it's weird/inappropriate to ask a girl about her weight changes throughout the years

I guess all that depends on the relationship though. But yeah, I know a lot of persons who don't tell everything to their chicks. And it must be the same from both sides I guess...

I've already reached my final pattern a while ago

It's not like an NW3-4 transplant while I'm still massively shedding

My balding has ended a couple years ago lol
oh yeah I get it. But I doubt that it's your very final pattern. My cousin had a transplant before 30, now is above 40 and reached NW7... his hair looks like sh*t now. He had no choice --he's kind of a narcissist and a sex-addict though-- but to go full hairpiece.

NW7 is rare

For most people it stops at NW5-6

Telling every awkward thing that ever happened to you that could be a turn off for no reason is pretty dumb imo. Doesn't necessarily make the relationship better or something

Honesty and vulnerability are important, just gotta be smart about it and do it step by step
