It made me remember the way I felt when i first went bald-naked. I was with this guy and we were looking in the mirror at my baldness and the veins in my scalp looked really huge. It was like a very very vulnerable feeling and i was paranoid about the veins being cut and my brain being exposed.

When I woke up i had to check the mirror lol. Reminds me of what uncomfortable man once said about hair-that its nature's security blanket and then when you lose hair its like losing it.

Metaphorically it is true as well, since baldness is such an obvious thing that greatly affects your appearance and is a very easy target for trash talkers.

I sometimes dream I have a lot more hair all of a sudden. And I'm like "Wow, how could my hair transplant give me so much density?!"

In one of these dreams, I even started styling my hair with my hands, I couldn't believe it. Going back to reality was quite hard. Stupid dreams.
lol ahhh wish fulfillment dreams, nice when you are having them, but it sucks when you wake up

i had a few as well of hair coming back, its a surreal feeling

Yeah I often have hair-related dreams. Or should we say nightmares. I've dreamt that I was going to a wig shop a couple of times, which was really horrifying. All of the wigs looked so fake and they felt weird on my head. I've never dreamed that I got all my hair back though.

Nightmare? Nothing compared to being bald/balding in the real world.

Very true. The sweet relief of sleep, nightmare or not, is far better than the actual reality. Balding is like living a nightmare 24/7.

I finally had my first bald dream but it was about Exodus. Probably because I had read this thread a couple of days ago.

"Sigmund Freud who developed the discipline of psychoanalysis, wrote extensively about dream theories and their interpretations in the early 1900s. He explained dreams as manifestations of our deepest desires and anxieties"

Yup, sounds about right. A person dreaming about hair in the subconscious is probably thinking about it tenfold while conscious. Goes to show how much it impacts us.

Yeah, those nasty dreams about hair loss, I've never liked them very much. I've even had a few nightmares that I was bald. I wasn't treated any less of a person, no one was mean to me, I wasn't made fun of, I wasn't looked at as weird, etcetera. I just hated the way I looked, and if felt so real. Indeed I agree with uncomfortable man that hair is nature's security blanket, I tend to feel easily uncomfortable in my own skin when I'm fixating too much on my hair.

What happened in your dream about him? I'm curious to know.

Well it wasn't a nightmare as such. He entered my car and sat next to me. I noticed in the dream he had a smart suit on and I was thinking he was on the shorter side with a shaved head but he looked cute. Weird dream to say the least.

I had a dream about baldness ages back, all I remember of it was right near the end when I put my fingers to my scalp and felt the thickest combover ever coming straight from the horsehoe, once I moved it out the way, a nice smooth dome and then bam I woke up just like that. That was the morning I decided going bald was not an option!

Well that's interesting. Did he have a shaved head by choice or was it because he was bald?

I remember when I was 15 years old and during the month of October, I was flipping through TV channels and I ran into this scene of the movie, and I've never seen before. At first I thought it was some really weird comedy movie about some random disturbed clown, but then I later realized it's some type of horror movie. Also, it was 30 years later when Pennywise came back.

This is true. I often look forward to going to sleep so that I can escape this nightmare of hair loss. And sometimes I have great dreams that unfortunately I cannot achieve in real life due to hair loss. I often jot these dreams down right as I wake up so that I don't forget them. Also, I see Evillocks got banned from here. Why is that?

Last thing I remember the poor girl was being insulted by another user in her thread about bad hair days.
Is it possible things escalated?

Things calmed, and thread was closed by mod. The reason for banning her should be disclosed.
