Has Anyone Considered Quitting Dating?

That's what I imagine the appeal of online dating to be for women that are too good looking to be online, they get treated by some fool who pays for their meals and drinks, makes them laugh, gives them some attention, she gets to mindfuck the guy with false hope then they repeat it with another guy.

Actually I don't think this is the case - a truly beautiful woman doesn't need the power kick - they already have it made. Why would they date ugly, desperate men when they can date a good looking man like themselves?

Men are much more needy, the despair will make them tolerate almost anything at least until they get their fix or even just to brag they dated that girl.

This has always been the problem, I wouldn't tolerate this BS either but the problem is that other guys will.

I don't. If someone is given me problems I ditch them

After all, sex and dating should be fun for both of us. If either of us is making it difficult then its not meant to be - and then you ditch them and move on to someone who wants to have a good time.

I never talked to girls, and only got confidence at 23 years old (this year) to even think about it, and even to hang out with people.

But about two months after getting this confidence, I am back to accepting being single for my entire life because hair loss has caused me from being attractive, to ugly old looking man.


It is a relief a little bit to be celibate, if you accept it. But at the same time, it removes so much motivation in life. What is the point of life, if you are not going to ever have children? what are your accomplishments? material. nothing. It is all a waste of time.

So be careful what you wish for if you choose to be celibate, it might make you even more deprssed than if you were trying and failing to find a girl.


(by the way, when your in your 30s and 40s, it is a lot easier for people to ignore appearances, so even if you do give up, eventually age catches up to everyone else too, and personality is what will be the main match maker)

Yeah, its easier in the thirties, but don't think it wont matter at all.

No matter what age you are it is hard if you feel ugly

I've been given this some real thought recently.

And I've noticed that half the concerns about hair loss are related to the fear - and great possibility - of no longer being attractive to the opposite sex. All across the impact section are debates about what women want, what they find attractive, and how to get them. It all just seems very tiring and its had me thinking that it might be quite liberating to not try to win over the opposite sex.

My reasons are a little different: I tend to sleep with two new people a month. I also go on at least two dates a week - all sourced from online dating. These dates do not cost much - I tend to just buy three drinks for me per date and that only comes to £10-15, but do this twice a week and its £25 and do it for a month its £100. Occasionally I go for the odd meal and that comes to £25. All in all, I spend around £130 per month on dating! Over £1,500 per year. What a joke!

And this is us going halves - imagine if I were a tool who paid for their stuff!

This isn't to mention the time - two or three dates a week may only be around 10 hrs (plus sex). But I also spend another 10 hrs or so with online dating getting the dates set up. So that is 20hrs per week spent dating and shagging. 80 hrs per month. If I spent that time over the year I could have finished my novel and learned a second language!

So dating costs me thousands a year, is emotionally tiring, and takes up all my time. And yet still I come back for more.

Is anyone in the same boat? (maybe for different reasons) And have thought about retiring from the dating scene for a little while

I've essentially quit dating. I'm cool with that. If I get my hair back then I will get my life back and if I don't get my hair back then the rest of my life will be crummy. But it won't be my fault. It will be because I became disfigured.

Being bald sucks so bad. It always seems that girls don't take you seriously as when you had hair in regards to dating.
Dates with pretty girls used to be common on a weakly basis. They would drop their panties in a heart beat.
NOT NO MORE Now is mostly girls at strip clubs and pretty gold diggers that want money favors in return.

SO FCKEN SAD... Thought about SMP procedure but in the end it will never substitute the beauty of having hair.
I hope the Brotzu love potion is the real deal and regrows all the vellus hairs I have and at least bring me back to a Norwood 3

The SMP is temporary right?

Maybe look into that if you are 4--you still have a good amount of hair to do shaved with SMP.
