Has Anyone Just Shaved It Off To See?

Has anyone just tried buzzing down to a buzzcut to see how they look? Or to get an idea how they would look eventually being bald?

I am tempted to try it.

That is the only way to gracefully bald is keep it short.

True. You should give it a try, and you never know; you might look better than expected. I did it and it made me realize I have a decent jawline. The rest of your features get more focus.

You are lucky at this point in time - the sly look is much more common and acceptable now than say 20 - 30 years ago. If you live in a major metropolitan area, just look around and notice now many young guys are walking around with shaved heads. And then notice how many of them are accompanied by hot babes. It's pretty apparent that many young women are not in the least turned off by a sly dome - and I'm sure there are many who really like it.

I have been with a girl from 12(record as a boy living in a small city,
3 girls believed having close with me, as a person,not in sexual way.
I had hard time to keep them happy while saying no to them.

Guys will never risk to have wrong girl in life because Sex= Marriage in many instances.

I went with so confidence like when i guy goes to give Interview,
I presented myself as a positive person..


I really believe guys should always be positive,if you get a girl or not,it don't matter...
Either make them like you or love you.

His have one of the best transformation i have seen..

One of the most famous Olympian plus his look have improved from 3/4 to 7/8/9/10( His personality and and impact can give be percieved differently by the beholder, i say he is 10.
Sorry for being superficial but i said this because just see how he was looking at 15...at Athens.

Career..
An engineer want engineer girl,doctor wants doctor,mba wants mba..
Because of same thinking.


About poor,boy don't need to be too rich,but should have decent money to keep marriage sustainable..
And that's okay.
I want to see every boy and girl happy after marriage.

Being poor and handsome can get you a beautiful bride in love marriage but then,it will make life of girl hell because such guys later harass girl for dowry,not all,some men are good and will work hard to have a beautiful marriage,still few exploit this situation as social hack to wealth.

No, I already know I'd look like sh*t without hair.

I was buzzed down to 1 mm for 2 months to see if I can take "the bald road", and it was during that time that I realised with 100% certainty that I can not under any condition let myself go bald.

The comments from people, ranging from shock to disgust were one thing. "Why did you do that?" "Where is your hair?" "Are you sick?" "Did you join the skinheads?" "What's wrong with you?" "You look balder every time I see you"

Then seeing myself in the mirror and not recognizing myself, seeing what I'd be forced to look like, noticing my ears stick out way too much from my head to pull off this "look", my head shape not being well suited to it at all, picturing the loss of identity and being condemned to looking like this to the rest of my life...

I was in my house most of the time during those 2 months. Didn't even go out much. Just waited for my hair to grow back to a decent length.
Given that I was only buzzed very very short and not even completely shaved, I can only imagine what my life would look like if I was bald.

I think very few guys can pull off the completely bald look (ie shaved to a "0" or no1 guard). It can be a good look but personally I wouldn't go any closer then a no3 guard on top. True, it exaggerates your features so if you have a strong jawline, big eyes, good cheekbones ect it will make these stand out even more. On the other hand if you have a big nose, buck teeth or the wrong shape head ect it's probably a bad idea to shave it.
I think it also depends on the type of hair loss and how bad your hair loss is. The shorter your hair the more your hairline/recession and thinning areas will be apparent (no coverage). If you only have recession at the temples and no thinning elsewhere it may look ok.

This is what I always tell people who say hair loss is not a big deal: I always invite them to shave their heads even once but they will never do it. But there is a huge difference between buzzed and completely shaved though. If you shave it to a 1 or a 0, people can still tell very clearly that you have hair on top of your head. Hell, a lot of women even like this kind of look (and rubbing the stubble) and plenty of guys buzz their heads voluntarily. But a really a bald guy is one with a completely shaved head and that can be a real shocker. I actually saw a guy at my gym earlier who was horseshoe bald and pasty white skin, and I just felt terrible for him. He may not be on a hair loss forum but who knows what goes through his mind?

So Bobster, if you're really tempted, I'd buzz it to a 2 or 1 guard but I'd definitely not completely shave it. Since you're a diffuse thinner, the buzzed look might even suit you and since it seems like you're not completely bald, women may actually like the look.

I unintentionally found out several times in the past. As a little kid I had trichotillomania. My parents buzzed my hair so I couldn't pull it out. Looked good.

Day before my first college class, I got scalped at Great Clips. I went home and used a disposable because I couldn't find any place to get my hair cut. Went full skinhead. I have a small head, it was very white and looked odd, but I got used to it. When the time comes, I can live with it though, I've seen way worse.

Yes but I used to always shave my head anyway. I was worried you could see the hairloss but its not actually visible for me at the moment when short

Yeah I did and then I had to check my back pocket to see if my cellphone was still there. Not only do I look horrible but the thicker edges of the top make a ridiculous look which is very hard to maintain. Think of Flint from the Prodigy.
