I know man. it sucks. It's a complete catch 22. Soon enough, I will get some land in northern cali where we all can live, like in the show, "the outsiders". The only difference is we won't have super thick, long, warrior like man buns, we will be bald. You're welcome to come. You must have some skills to offer. Like, plumbing for example.

I'm quite depressed today so it's not that surprising what comes out of my mouth (or keyboard) is not all positive and sh*t (but then again, what the f-ck is positive about baldness anyway)

I shaved my hair off a few weeks ago to see what it looked like. In all honesty, it looked okay. My head shape is okay and I'm in good shape so that helps.

I found that because I have tons of tattoos I have to watch what I wear because I can look too tough. I make sure I always wear a shirt now.

I'm growing it back right now and it looks worse inbetween. I'm a NW2.5 and it looks better shaved off or when its three inches long on top so its easier to style and conceal.

One positive is that I managed to get a date from pof with a bald head and things are going really well between us.

Again, I feel I look better with hair - hence growing it back - but it wasn't the end of the world. While I don't want to be bald I know that someday it will happen it isn't the end of the world. Plus, I'm 29 and I've noticed a few friends starting to thin so that's cheered me up no end.

It's a long time but by 6 months there is noticeable difference so it doesn't matter. Plus not doing it, kills time anyway. The way my hair is, there is no real rush for it to grow either. The first 1 1/2 months were the hardest, after that I look exactly like before the hair transplant.

Yeah my surgeon did both types. But he preferred to do shave FUE and that was my preference too. You can visualise the thin areas much better. I'm only going to do it once to the front so may as well do it properly. I told them to use whatever grafts they and sort out any thin/bald areas to the required density.

When my hair us grown our at over a 1.5"-2" it disuse and hides the apparent thin areas. That's the problem with non shaven fue, cannot properly adress future areas that will be effected.

Non shaven fue is only effecient at rhe front of the hairline and filling in bald temples. Spot treatment, but no effecient at optimizing graft spread and allocating them in a effective manner.

When I buzz my entire head, it's like disguised dht layground I never knew existed over the layers of hair.

Everyone wants an easy way out, but why spend so much money then have to deal with the headache of fixing a problem that could of avoided entirely.

Non shave fue has its place for touch ups, temple points, angle closure and crown fill ins. But as far as reinforcing and doing the entire frontal third. Its not accurate

I did this and it was a great decision. Shower so easy. minoxidil easy. MILD derma rolling (0.25mm, i.e., not even puncturing really). as it grew back in, after the first week or so and there was stubble I thought, you know, this is actually not a bad look for me. made me look YOUNGER, or so said a couple of people. my hair is very thick so as it grows in, the degree of my hairloss is not as apparent as it would be with other men. I have an idea of what I am up against, now, and this is actually relieving. I am growing it back out, currently maintaining with minoxidil, and seeing how it goes. But also, TBH, I have a pretty decently shaped head. If I didn't, this wouldn't be an option. seems like shape of head is more important than density of hair when doing the bald look.
