This thread is depressing as f***

Why should it depress you? You're a good responder to finasteride. You'll never go bald. Neither will I now that I'm on daro. Like sunchyme said, this is why it's important to take your hair loss seriously and be motivated about getting good/effective treatments.

When people talk about a 1% gyno risk on finasteride for example, I laugh. Which would you rather have? Gyno you can cut off with a minor procedure, or to end up like one of the lost souls in this thread? And keep in mind these guys are f*****g good looking and balding still fucked them up hard. If you're ugly it's only gonna get that much worse.

I think Roger Waters looks a lot better being in his 70s than he ever did in his youth

Although a lot of it has to do with how he has managed to keep all his hair and run the sophisticated silver fox game + facial hair game, he's better at hiding his horseface now

Holy sh*t that's incredible. Inspirational. He looks old and busted as f*** but still amazing in his own way.

I think this has also been a major force in keeping the Foo Fighters relevant. Dave Grohl has the exactly same perfect hair at 48 as he did at 20.

He also looks better now having filled in his scrawny frame a bit and grown a beard. He actually looks somewhat handsome now when I never would have said that back during Nirvana. So I guess he's one of the few that did what I said is almost impossible and got genuinely better looking past his youth.

You're right. My BDD ways probably saved my ***; if I would have just wrote off my excessive hair fall 2 years ago I probably would have been in a really bad place now. My hair loss experiences have also made me smarten up and hop on a skincare routine (e.g., Vitamin C, Retin-A, suncreen) and work out to maximize my potential.

Holy sh*t f*****g overload.

I was driving around today stuck in traffic and the car in front of me had this beautiful teenage girl in it. Perfect. Kept looking back because we were all stuck/dead in gridlock and someone kept honking behind us. Then her mom turned around from the front seat.

God what a nightmare.

It's amazing to think that's what that teenage girl is going to likely become in time. I always get a kick out of seeing girls in their teens/twenties with their moms. It shows you just how much wrinkles/sagging/fat can destroy someone's appearance.

We're all damned in time. All we can do is try to minimize the damage. :)

Mickey Rourke got his face busted due to boxing though
The other two seem to have suffered screwed up plastic surgeries

For inspiration, Audrey Hepburn aged with a lot of grace.

Wow. Good for her.

Jared Leto is another one that people quote and someone posted his mom in another thread who has aged well. She's obviously not "hot" anymore though I'm sure she was in youth, since significant wrinkles are generally boner killers for most men, but she looks generally great:

I'm sure she's had some work, but you can see where he gets his aging genetics from. Also fantastic hair on them both.

My mom is a very pretty woman (ironic given what happened to me) and she's still thin/fit and guys hit on her all the time in her mid 60s. I took her to a concert for a band we both liked a year or two ago, which she enjoyed, and all these 30-35 year old guys kept hitting on her all night. lol.

Aging well is not impossible. But it's hard/rare.

Unfortunately we can not escape it unless we're a gonner. All we can do is do our best to delay it. Even former 10s like C. Crawford can't escape time. She has not let herself go and no she does not look terrible, but she kinda look like Caitlyn Jenner now and before she was perfect. :( Brooke Shields another example.

If she dyed her hair she would look mid 40s

this entire thread is literally the story of my life, within about 3-4 years. Not saying I was a johnny depp or val kilmer, but was considered desirable by very attractive women. Now, literally no one. Just twenty lbs heavier and diffused balding and any attractiveness I had is entirely gone.

If it makes you feel better they met when she was 18.

Thanks buddy! Thanks so much! :D

Very helpful

hahaha

Oh God

I think I gotta drop my pride and get a sugar baby. That's basically what you're seeing with these types of situations. Just with the bonus of Chad genes in the mix. I'm sure he still enjoys it either way.

Would love to do Jared's mom. She has a naughty look in her eyes. It would be great if she dyed her hair though.

Does your mom ever take up on the offers of the 35 year old men?

Haha not that I'm aware of. :) They bicker but she's otherwise been happily married to my dad for ~35 years now.

She picked my short/ugly/bald dad over plenty of Chads. My dad hit the Norwood hard in his teens. By 30 he was a NW6/7.

My mom liked him and didn't care. That's why she has never understood why I have so much trouble. To her those standard things of traditional male beauty were never very important. She has also led a blessed life of being beautiful, so she just assumes everyone everywhere is nice and friendly, etc, because they are to her.

It's kind of funny really.

That’s the thing with hair loss. You can reinvent yourself basically up until around your 50s if you keep your hair. Everything (natural) is reversible to an extent. Got fat? Lose the weight. Teeth yellowed/crooked? Fixed at the dentists. Skin bad? Cut the booze and eat your vegetables. Edward Furlong was posted earlier and granted he looks bad because of the way he’s living his life. But guarantee if he quit drugs, joined the gym and shed the weight, everyone would be saying how good he looks within a year. That’s because he’s still got his hair.

But losing your hair? Not currently reversible for hard cases, even transplants are limited (see Wayne Rooney). Macaroni should really photoshop some more celebrities because it’s one of the strongest red pills on hairloss for people without hairloss. I’d love to see what Grohl looks like with a wispy nw4, maybe a full horseshoe on Russell Brand.

I think it would be better to edit them sly bald rather than horseshoe / wispy shitty hair, because when you show the pics to fullheads they will just deny they look bad because of the hair loss and say sh*t like "bald isn't ugly, balding is ugly"

True partially but a lot of celebs have great head shapes (that's why they're celebs) and can end up still looking handsome in their own ways shaved:

Obviously not as good as having hair, but these guys still look objectively handsome. Just more like handsome slick bald alien creatures.

Or shaved like space monkeys, ready to be shot into space.

I went through a stage of looking somewhat sh*t for a few years, just wasn't looking after myself well and looked at least a few years older than I am. I got less attention from women but I didn't care so much as long as I got some attention or interest, but I thought it was over for catching a younger girls eye.

I just started eating better, less alcohol, drugs or smoking, really looking after my skin (I think this was a major thing) and drinking a lot of water (also very important). Then added gymming to this after about a year and I actually look younger in the 2 years or so, than I did age 27/28. Of course hairline regrowth helps enormously, even if it's still far from dense at the fringe I still at least resemble a man who has hair.

I Iimproved, and attention from younger girls is happening again.

My situation is a bit weird. I think I objectively had a lot of potential in my teenage years/twenties however I absolutely squandered it by being a messed-up shut-in. People underestimate the importance of being neurotypical/well-adjusted. Once word gets around that you are strange you are radioactive to most girls. You are also removed from potential sexual encounters through not being invited to parties et.c.

Now with Tinder and the like it doesn't matter as much as it used to as you can meet women outside your social circle and looks/shallow first impressions is more important than anything else. I've consequently been a lot more successful but the quality of the women is not super-high to be honest. It's depressing to think I could have been a third-rate Chad back in the day.

Are you considering further surgery?
