I need to upgrade my regime, continuing to lose hair on it. I'm wondering if I should start using RU58841 or dutasteride.

Is there any downsides to just mixing the RU with minoxidil? Would be alot easier.
Also do you apply RU 2x a day?

Just go to your local polish food shop, it's really expensive as the duty is based on the % alcohol.

I tried getting Everclear (190 Proof) from a friend that went to Calgary in Canada (Alberta is the only province that allows the sale of it, it's pretty much banned everywhere else). Before he boarded the plane, they swiped it from him, said the alcohol concentration was too high. I think there's a 40% limit.

Why not both? One then the other, so you know what effect you're getting from each.

Some people say it's hard to dissolve high % RU in liquid minoxidil, but otherwise if liquid minoxidil works for you, it's probably a good plan

Maybe due to it being a fire hazard at those kinds of concentrations although I don't know about the ability to restrict purchases between provinces in Canada.

I think about half an hour is about as much time it takes for it to dry before I can shower or something. It's fairly quick. Kirkland's Minoxidil takes forever.

so it only needs to be left in for 30 mins? its ok to wash out after?

@hellouser Do you think I can use distilled water instead of the alcohol? I have trouble with other topicals as my scalp appears to be super-absorbant (or my body just super sensitive don't know)...
