My point makes perfect sense. There's zero point going on any medication and dealing with possible side effects until he's a Norwood 3 Vertex which is were male pattern baldness properly kicks in.
A Norwood 2 can last for decades. My Dad's been a Norwood 2 for nearly 5 decades from his late teens to his late 60's. According to you and many others on this forum, he'd have been a candidate for Finasteride etc in his late teens despite the fact that he's still got a great head of hair at 67. This is f*****g madness. I was a Norwood 2 for nearly 20 years - from the age of 17 to 36 before my crown started to thin and I was forced to take Minoxidil and Finasteride.
OP should keep an eye on it to see if the situation worsens but there's no point him getting his knickers in a twist about minor temporal recession.
