How Did This Place Turn From Blue Pill Land Into Shitty Advice.2?

I remember 2012-2013.
The mods were on a puahate witchhunt.
If you were not deluded and PC, the banhammer was swift. Now, this place is even darker and more cynical than the rest of the red pill sphere.

Fred the Belgian admitted changing his views, but how was the process for others?

This thread would have gotten me a banhammer three years ago, and I'm pretty positive it won't happen today.

What happened?? It's really obvious to someone like me who stopped lurking for a while, because I went full workaholic/gymcel mode to cope and save for my hair transplant.

In my opinion, Fred, shookwun and Swingline have been the main promoters of the dark/cynical outlook on baldness that persists around here now. Most of us other regulars have come around to it because it conforms quite well if not perfectly to what we observe in real life. There is also an absence of good arguments from the other side to counter it.

We've also had an influx of actual Sluthate posters (cope4life, Dante, SadVegeta) who have focused the discussion even more around genes and brought the deterministic, red pill-style arguments even more to the fore.

All in all I feel this place is closer to the truth about the effects of baldness than any other forum or place of exchange that is out there. It's realistic, honest, but not overly dramatic or exaggerated (think "aesthetic NW1 or bust") like Sluthaters tend to be.

I visited sluthate once (retarded place).

I browse lookism but not even registered there (was but lost account).

This subforum I visit more than other places.

Every argument is from real life or stories I've read.

So pls stop call me sluthate poster — it is insulting.

Alright, then I'm sorry about that. You use much of the same terminology ("coper", x-"cel", "just lol at") and bring up many of the same things. You even quoted a sluthate post very recently (about the Asian guy who had approached 50,000 women). It was natural for me to assume that you post/posted there.

I use it because of my poor english language and these definitions are short and meaningful. Nevertheless I understand abusing them looks retarded but I do not care.

About 50k approached guy I went by reference tho.

Fred used to be one of the strong anti-puahate guys here, he was even once quoted as a debater in one of Invisible's videos. Chris also used to be quite agressive to shitty advicers here. But now it feels like a second home! When did they give up?

While there is definitely more truth to "red pill theory" than "blue pill theory", I think the main reason it's so popular is because most people end up on a baldness forum because they are in a somewhat desperate state, and "red pill" is a re-assurance that it's not our fault, that we're all powerless and it's the world's fault for being so cruelly vain and superficial (as if we aren't ourselves) and most importantly for an extreme minority of guys here, it's a place where you can beat yourself up as some sort of odd release.

Actually, the more you get into this place and the theories involved, the more you believe or want to believe it's true. When I take time away from this place I quickly realise while there is some fundamental truths that people believe in and me as well, this place blows it into extremities, I do not believe a lot of what I read on here relates to what I observe in real life.

I think we hate hairloss so much (and we hate the people who hate it) because it is very very stupid as a disfigurement. It is barely palpable, but it undermines your image. It is almost a joke. You lose dead matter, a dead weight, you look bad.

If you think about it, the idea that "it's just hair" is absolutely true: the matter that you lose is little and serves no purpose. Yet it burdens so heavily on our sex lives (to different degrees of course).

The contrast between the idiocy of our disease and the consequences it has is staggering and frustrates us.

Yes it's a uniquely distressing issue that nobody will quite understand until they go through it. For many it's still a goofy little problem to have, it's funny, some people even find it hilarious, and for those going through it it's so serious, it completely fucks up your perception of yourself and even your identity in many ways.

Even a burns victim, who has it infinitely worse, at least has the comfort that people understand what they've gone through as terrible, that is something to have. We aren't "victims" we're a laughing stock, there's no comfort there.

I think the world is a very vast place and there are indeed different shades of intelligent, vain, superficial, profound. One can rarely generalize.

Have you ever noticed that a superficial approach to relationships is totally non-related to a person's smarts? I have known very intelligent women hook up with handsome stupid men and apparently uneducated, non-career driven girls who chose men who were not "hot" but had the ability to appreciate them.

Good for you, and I meant no ill will by posting it. I will make a correction in my post, if you are willing to do so I would also appreciate if you remove your dislike (I have OCD and that "1" will trigger me severely).
LOL, I got a dislike for just asking a question if someone was an eye doctor or had strabismus. It was just a question and I don't see anything wrong with asking. And my OCD triggered just slightly and I had to see how many others don't have zero in that category. And even the best people on here have some. It shows you not everyone is going to "like" everything you post and there is always going to be that one person who is going take away your "perfection". It is kind of like when you get a new car and you finally find a dent on the body when you go to your car out in the parking lot. Zircon, just let it go. Once you do, you will be fine.

Doctor, I wasn't serious.
LOL, be honest with me zircon. Just for a moment you thought about how your perfect record just ended, right? If not, my post was still truthful!

I think this board vastly overplays the non-sexual social consequences of baldness. But sex, love, and romance are the most important parts of socialization--if you have those things in your life, you can actually be a happy loner. On the other hand, this board is pretty accurate as to the dating game impact. NW3 in your teens and even into your later 20s is not a great place to be (and NW4 or 5 might be yet again another order of magnitude worse). And one of the cruelest ironies is that conservative hair transplant surgeons are generally unwilling to give you a real fix during your youth, when hair matters most. So it's not really a surprise that you end up with a lot of desperate kids here who feel fucked--and not in a good way--and few kind of jerky dudes who are so self-impressed because they either drugged or plugged their ways to heads full enough of hair to get laid.

Perhaps the best post I've ever seen here--characterizes the predicament with real economy.
