He needs to tone it down a little. From my experience - women say they like the swimmers body

I think that's the physique every man should strive to get. Not too big, not too small.

Big manly shoulders, but a nice lean stomach.

I personally think that's the physique every guy should be going for.

but I would be forced to train with good-looking guys with perfect physiques and be mocked and ridiculed by them.

Wear loose fitting clothes which cover your body and don't display your physique. That's what I do.

You can see on the first page my body.

Its improved since then as well.

I'm now in the best shape of my life
How old are you? I am 34, but I only became good-looking in my early 30s. That´s actually the terrible thing, I finally came to a point, where I was happy with myself and then hairloss hit me brutally ......

I'm 30, and I've definitely improved in my late twenties.

Its a nice age to Improve your looks because I really appreciate it now, whereas I wouldn't when I was younger.

Now, I just want to stay attractive and look after myself for as long as I can.

gotta love when cope4life posts the ugly dudes who lift weights. Talks about coping, and defensive mechanisms yet he is the poster boy of justifying his inability to ever attain a decent physique. Reflection, and a form of cope is all I see.

He keeps trying to make a point, but it's irrelevant. there lives are no doubt better then they were prior to lifting weights.

jesus man, that's terrible. I am sorry. How did your physique change in your 30's that made you more attractive? I find that, aside from hair loss, I am aging pretty well myself. I am also thirty four. I have good skin, minimal wrinkles and a nice jaw line (when it's not covered in fat, haha). Once there is a cure, damn life will be soooooo much easier. Imagine WATCHING your hair grow back.

Tfw you realize you're the most aesthetic dude at the gym, minus your hairline

My sh*t hairline keeps me humble, and in my place. Lots of NW1 Brad Pitt level manes going on around here

I think men look best in the face between 28-40.

If you look at most actors - most peak looks wise in their early 30s.

It does go downhill eventually though. Our jaws will sag a little, it will be harder to keep the weight down, and we will likely get bags under our eyes. Not to mention hairloss.

Its hard to say how much of ageing is genetic. Some men seem to age like fine wine and some men go to sh*t at 30.

Seriously, in recent months I have absolutly zero motivation to hit the gym or go running. Why should I care about being good-looking, when won´t be because of my hair? I try to tell myself, that I might just wear a hat and still be a bit good-looking, but it is just not the same, it is like one big lie. Plus every good hair looks better even with a dumb haircut than the best hat in the world.

So, I might consider just getting fat and even uglier, I have already gained some love handles around the hips in recent weeks. Might have been the dutasteride, but I have no energy to watch my nutrition or work in the gym.

I should have added another thing to my post.

Working out for me isn't some moderate activity. I lift for strength. I have to push very hard. This means an altered state of mind when I'm pushing the iron -- a state of mind absent in normal day to day life. Where my brain circuits are being fervently activated in order to generate juice to move the iron. This isn't particular to lifting though. It was the same thing when I used to do intense martial arts HIIT type training.

You get addicted to this state of mind. It's like a drug.

Physical activity without this is meh for me. I have no motivation for cardio.

Wear a cap, and go to the gym?

A popular style I see of balding men in my gym
Even non balding men. They wear it with that new stiff brim style where they don't bend the front - like Rich Piana goddamit!

I was a pretty child, but I gained weight when I hit puberty. I lost weight in my early 20s again, but immediately (maybe weeks) after I had finished I noticed increased shedding. I was in denial for about one and a half year until I faced reality and had a brutal mental breakdown. My hair recovered or at least stabilized, but my life went down the dran and I became fat again. In my early 30s I lost weight again and for the first time in my life actually took care of my anxiety and depression. But the long version is much more complicated......

Plus: I have zero wrinkles. How should I? When you never smile, you can´t get wrinkles. I have noted this at many people who have been depressive for decades:

My skin got a lot older in recent weeks because of the stress and restarting smoking......

Genetics I would say is 50% of it, the other is self-flagellation in the form of exercise. And I mean getting a good heart rate, breaking a good sweat and feeling a good pump in the muscles. If you're not exercising regularly to this extent then it won't be as effective.

Fast blood flow keeps cells active and slowing their otherwise aging process in my opinion.
