How long have I got left? Is it aggressive or early stages

I know for a fact I'm thinning due to the wet hair pictures. Do I hop on finasteride, or wait 3 weeks to see trichologist to confirm it's thinning and try other methods. Not sure what to do. You only see scalp when wet or parted. When it's dry it still covers scalp completely, but not sure how long I have left of my hair. I don't experience any shedding.

Will waiting 5 weeks max make it hard for it to grow back if its still relatively thick on top? Will 5 weeks be too long?

How old are you? Are you sure you don't have shedding cos if you're thinning all across the top like that you must have experienced bucket loads of shedding the last couple of years

Nah I don't experience any shedding dude. I go in the shower and like 1 or 2 hairs come out. So idk what the hell it is. male pattern baldness, stress, idk. I can even show a video I lose no hair?

Run my hands through hair and combing, I hardly have hair on it.

That's super strange. I mean your hair is pretty fine naturally, maybe it hasn't thinned as much as you suspect? Does your family history make you suspect you might start balding young?

Prob go see a derm / trichologist. 3 weeks isn't that long in the grand scheme of things and will give you better answers about your hair loss status than we can with these photos.

If it's naturally fine on god I will give u 100 dollars because I'd be that happy. But idk. When I part it it's naturally bigger the part. Its just weird. No hair fall even if I pull the f*** out of it.

Not my family history, the parting makes me scared. And doctor said I'm thinning. Maybe he is wrong but half of people on last post said hop on finasteride. Apparently if ur hair is thinning u don't need to have hair loss though. It just becomes thin?

Perhaps you had Telogen Effluvium if your hair has gotten thinner quite quickly. A trich would be able to confirm by looking at miniaturisation.

Anyways no expert here but if you're not shedding then you don't have to worry to be fair.

I had something similar to this in 2015 where I lost 50% of density with a combination of malnutrition, nizoral abuse & depression and most likely some male pattern baldness that got triggered along with everything that was suppose to start way later.

Just like you...I never experienced any shedding. So if you're not experiencing any shedding then you don't have to worry that you're going to lose more hair in 3 months.


by the way your scalp is red. I'm assuming it inflammation?

I have seborrheic dermatitis. You also said I was balding or thinning on my other post. I think you said camel diet. Maybe opinion has changed.

Well you clearly have some kind of hair loss going on. I haven't changed my opinion on that. As I mentioned before, I don't know what your future holds but if you're saying you don't have any kind of shedding it's unlikely you're going to lose more hair in 3 months.

One doctor said it's balding. The one I saw today said that is wrong and my hair is just naturally thin. Just when it's wet it's scary. I'll find out in a few weeks

Dude you have fine hair naturally for sure but the question is if it's definitely thinner than it used to be

I would say that’s male pattern baldness. 90% chance it isn’t anything else. I have very fine hair, but I have very good density, when my hair is wet it doesn’t look thin. My point is, it’s not just fine hair, you def lost density as well. Take dry pics with your hair pulled back
