How long have I got left? Is it aggressive or early stages

I would say that’s male pattern baldness. 90% chance it isn’t anything else. I have very fine hair, but I have very good density, when my hair is wet it doesn’t look thin. My point is, it’s not just fine hair, you def lost density as well. Take dry pics with your hair pulled back

I mean these pics really confused me. Looks like a dense NW1 lol. Idk the wet pic makes no sense then, your good
I mean when it's dry there is no scalp only when parting. It's just when it's wet and I have a comb, or part it my hair shows a bit more scalp. Maybe it is naturally thinner hair. Thanks for input. I'll hope for good results with trichologist. Getting bloodwork tomorrow

I know for a fact I'm thinning due to the wet hair pictures. Do I hop on finasteride, or wait 3 weeks to see trichologist to confirm it's thinning and try other methods. Not sure what to do. You only see scalp when wet or parted. When it's dry it still covers scalp completely, but not sure how long I have left of my hair. I don't experience any shedding. This picture looks like thinning, my man. Your scalp looks inflamed, too.

hmm you've changed your perspective recently? Usually you don't talk like this.
Look we will see what person sais trichologist. If they are right then it goes to show this forum is actually good at spotting hair loss, and people here are actually smarter than doctors at spotting it. But we will see.

Trichologists aren't doctors and you don't need to be a doctor to identify ΑGΑ when the signs are so blatantly obvious.

Clear Norwood patterned diffusion
Visible miniaturisation even at the hairline

ΑGΑ confirmed. Good news is diffusers have some of the best response to finasteride so your outlook is good if you jump on sooner rather than later.

A trichologist can confirm if I'm balding though. It's all I need.

I can't see miniaturization only baby hairs. Hairline is my good part but yes I maybe balding. It sucks when it literally isn't in my family. Like how the f*** does it occur if balding isn't in family nor grandparents

What do you think baby hairs are? Your hairline will continue to be your "good part" if you take action to stop the progression.

You can have baby hairs that stop after hairline has matured man. They are just the hairs that have receeded a lot of men stop once matured.

If finasteride gives me bad sides I have 0 options. So honestly not sure what to do. But you do know you can have baby hairs that don't mean balding

All those baby/miniaturised hairs or what ever you want to call them do not stop continuing to miniaturise once they appear in the absolute majority of men. We can see you have diffusion across the Norwood region this points to ΑGΑ being the only possible cause of loss, so all hairs in that pattern including your hairline are susceptible to further loss.

I was in the same position as you were when I was 19 noticing that same pattern of diffusion, clueless doctors would prescribe Betnovate Solution and recommend useless vitamins like biotin smh. Of course my loss progressed and it was only after 2 years I’d jumped on finasteride, only wish I'd jumped on at the first signs.

A lot of Miniaturization on hairline, get on treatment, looks like it is still reversible. :)

Good luck!

I just looked at your original pictures again. In the wet one only the top part is wet and the sides are dry or dryer. You need to post one of all your hair wet and combed back and one of all your hair dry and pulled back. Might as well throw in a couple direct profile view shots as well and a front view. Take them all in descent light and descent quality.
Hey man. Me with dry hair my hair is fine. I don't feel like posting but that's the truth. Only wet is bad.

Dude but min is normal on hairline everyone has those. I've had those hairs for 4 years plus. I can agree with the rest but just because someone has miniaturization on hairline doesn't mean 100 percent balding. Ton of people get min hair in hairline due to it maturing and it stops sometimes.

@Jacoby77 What I'm saying is that in that picture only the top of your head is wet anf the sides appear to be dry or dryer, which is probably why it looks so much worse. Wet hair tends to stick together like that when combed. And it was also under harsh light.

So that's why I said wet it all and see how it looks comparatively. But I get it if you don't want to post.
When it's wet you see scalp if I comb it. If I comb it forward you see no scalp though. Only if I slick it back with the comb sticking the hair together in parts.
I don't understand if I'm balding since no one in my family is bald lmao. Only one uncle and that ain't really enough. Maybe it is.

I have seborrheic dermatitis on scalp using ketaconazole for it now.

That's my point. If all your hair is wet and you comb it back like yours was, you are basically causing the hair to kind of stick up and the fold backwards, it also sticks together, and plus the harsh lighting allows it show down betweem the stuck together, pointed upwards hair if that makes sense. You MAY not be losing hair.
Emptiness, does have a point. You do loom like you’re diffuse thinning but you might not be. See what the doctor says. Check out zix. I’ll be trying that next month for maintenance.
