I never understood that. Why doesn't it matter to look good while in a relationship?
No idea, the right person is out there for all of us just need to get out and find them! Both my mates found their partners whilst totally bald. I just try hard because i prefer me with hair then without my wife doesn't really care.

shhh. this forum says its virtually impossible to find a good partner while bald and all women care that men have hair.

btw my wife says the same thing, and she thinks my rogaine is ridiculous. but i also prefer me with hair. :)

Then why are you here lol? All women (and men too) want to have hair. Not saying if you aren't a Norwood 1 you are fucked (its just get harder) but we all know how important looks are. And staying attractive in a relationship/marriage is so important. But people stop working on themselves cause suddenly with a ring on the finger you can get bald and fat lol. Same for women. A woman that gets fat after marriage is begging for a divorce to happen. 50-60 percent divorce is still a thing lol. My girlfriend is also saying: "you are handsome no matter what" but that's just blue pill to the core if you think doing your best to stay attractive isn't important. Women hypergamy is still a thing. Especially in the digital age.

Life is tough dude! You get a couple of kids, have a house to pay for, a job that takes all your free time and energy. It difficult to even know what week it is let alone actually worry about what you look like.

first guy buzz cut, with some hair left of top still

second guy, zero hair on top, shaved to bone

how the big is the difference looks wise?

i guess it all depends on your own level of hair loss

but to me, a nw4 guy headed to a nw7 eventually, it makes a huge difference

a few years ago, when i was only fighting temple loss, nw4 was the end of the world. nw4 was the same as nw7. all bald to me

now im here though, there is a huge a f*****g difference in my eyes. i dont EVER want to go slick bald. its look disgusting. everything about it. the shiny dome, the faint shadow left behind after a shave. its f*****g awful. even on a tanned white guy.

but a buzzcut, with a little hair left on top looks much better to me. a lot more aesthetically pleasing

its why ill never completely give up. my full head days are long gone now. thats fine. but i cannot accept going slick bald

what do you guys think? how much a difference is there with these guys?

There's a point in no return.

Today, you can under cut, you can do the taboo fringe style like hardy, buzz cut or shave. If I ever get to that point, it is gone. I will buzz it and grow a beard.

It's stupid to do like rsd Tyler or Costanza comb over hair around ears. The same with William but he doesn't suit it. IMHO I don't either but, I have a shag.

My base is thick. Temples, vertex not as much. It's not horrible but, I am not keeping a birds nest. It's gone then.

It's likely your head structure. If you have any weird jagged bumps or marks, you can cut it differently but, bald is it.

I like Strauss. Balding isn't a choice. Bald is.

My point exactly.

i mean slow the f****r down as best as i can. i have SOME control with that

i know the very unlucky ones like you stood no chance though and i feel very sorry for you guys

no man in their 20s or 30s should experience being slick bald.

I started going bald at 16.

I am gay and if that slick bald head guy wanted to date me I wouldn't give it a second thought, he looks hot. When I look at a guy the first thing that does NOT come to mind is, wow his hair is hot. I am sure most women would agree.

well age 20-30, unless the bald man is tall and muscular and suits the look, no woman wants to have a bald boyfriend. no girl wants to show her friends that all she could get was a bald man

Na there is somebody for everybody out there! There are lots of women who are not so fickle and don't really care no matter what age. The ones that are that fickle are not worth dating anyway as they will always be looking for an upgrade male to match their handbags.

But still have time spending on a hairloss forum? lol

Gee, that helps.

That is straight a sentence a single mother would tell her 28 year old virgin son: "Just be yourself son, there will be a woman for my special boy".
And a good father would say the harsh truth: "Son, hair and looks are important in addition to your character, let's improve in other areas (GYM, clothing, Finasterid etc) and we will up your SMV".

my mothers desparate for me to have a wife + kids, she keeps trying to set me up with fatties. kinda wish i was one of those feeder people now but fatties just do nothing for me. i'd rather a flat chested girl

Straight male here, but I agree. The completely bald guy looks decidely better, and I think women will agree.

1. much better chin/neck/jaw
2. muscular
3. no pattern baldness
4. tan
5. no visible grey hair (even though many women find it hot, I don't like it)

Still, I think many women will find the first guy reasonably attractive, especially those who are older. Height is an important factor, which we can't see here.

I wonder if the second dude would look better with a stubble.

BTW, I think gay preferences are generally different from female preferences (in the US at least). I live in a city with a decent number of gays. I often see a tall guy with a petite one. Presumably, the tall one is dominant (But I never ask)

i guess i should have found two guys equal in looks with different norwood levels. or maybe the same guy

anyway my point is how much does that small amount of hair still left on top make a difference to someones looks, regardless of the rest of their face

i think its huge. even just saving that little island is big for me now. it gives SOME frame to your face.

i dont think anyone should ever give up. even if its just to hold on to their nw4/5. if its possible to do so

slick bald, even just at the front half is a game changer to me

i think im going crazy

Yes, a little bit of hair in front is important IF your head is not shaved. "Power donuts" look like crap.

I remember I was in college and we had a bunch of professors with kind of normal middle-aged guy hair. Nothing too bad.

Then a new guy showed up (math lecturer). He was a sub or something. Not tall. Kind of overweight. Completely bald. ALL students thought he looked bad-*** and way better than the other professors. Shaving your head makes you look less nerdy.
