Re: How the f*ck can anyone cope with this sh*t?!
I tried finasteride for 1.5 yrs (stopped 4 years ago because it wasn't doing anything), also restarted it in last April but the sides were too severe for me to continue, so I discontinued it after 4 months. I also used Rogaine foam for 4 years, it did work at first and I actually think my hair was better in 2008-2009 than it was in 2007 while on finasteride. At that time my skin was ultra oily and not very itchy, but the seb. dermatitis was always there.
My biggest worry are my candida problems, I have a toenail fungus and I believe a systemic candida as well with seborrheic dermatitis of face and scalp. My scalp itches and flakes a lot and that can't be good for hair growth. I just can't get rid of the flaking, I've tried everything from very strict candida diet to all kinds of soaps and shampoos and anti-fungal medication. Nothing helps 'cause the yeast is inside my body. I can't be bald and have a flaky ugly red scalp.

You should definately not be considering a hair transplant IMO untill you find something that stops the thinning without sides cos without that you are going nw5/6 for sure and no transplant on earth will give you more than you have now to a fully bald head. Well there seem to be the odd ridiculously lucky hair transplant candidate where I think even the surgeons are suprised with the result like jotronic etc but I don't think you'd be one of them.
What have you tried so far?
