Look, I don't want to make you feel bad.
You could be lucky and maintain for most of your 20's but it's best to be prepared for the probable Norwood creep (receding hairline).

I really hope you maintain and have a decent love life in your future.

Thanks brother ...

I just can't deal with being high Norwood I'm afraid I'll kill myself

you apply minoxidil to your whole scalp ?
for me you got perfect hair , but fina can help prevent any further loss

I try minoxidil , I just use the foam and it seems pretty useless to me. Been on it for 2 years

Really want to get on duta soon but I'm scared of the sides.

Idk I try to run it in on the crown and part of the hairline. I'm still on the big 3 , hoping to maintain until better treatments come up but I feel as if that's wishful thinking.

Damn ... exactly what I'm saying man. When I first posted this thread yesterday everyone telling me not to worry and it actually sort of made me feel better. Now you guys red pilling the sh*t out of me haha I know it's true though . There is almost no way I'm keeping decent hair for 10+ years.

Disagreed. It's treatable.

Do you think I should get on duta soon?

Sorry to keep bugging you lol just wondering

I would if I was as young as you. If you get intolerable side effects step back to finasteride. At least in a year if it works you will have great hair again and the stress will come down. You can work out a long term plan after that. Short term - stopping further loss will make you feel best of all. At least you'll know progression isn't inevitable.

I can't really tell how fast I'm losing hair is the problem. My hair is thinned that's for sure but i don't actually feel like I'm losing THAT much hair but possibly it is creeping up on me slowly? Idk , I was really hoping to get regrow th from finasteride that would have calmed me down quite a bit. Diffuse thinning is so hard to measure so I can't tell if I'm maintaining or getting worse on finasteride

From the pics I've seen from you there's no reason for you to be a hat prisoner in my opinion. I think with the right haircut/style you can still make your hair look pretty good (as far as I can judge just by seeing your pics)

Yea I have a combover hair style that makes me look like a full head. But I have to worry about wind and water so I'd rather just put a hat on and not think about it

You can regulate your T levels with weight lifting, zinc supplements, magnesium supplements, DIM supplements, and DHEA supplements as well as a healthy diet high in protein, thus mitigating the loss of DHT by replacing it with regular T. Stopping the consumption of easy internet p*rn will also likely improve sexual function. Like I once said to Ideal, we should come at the problem as an engineer, not as a child freaking out at the thought of leaving Never Never Land.
