A few years ago I was out in front of a store I was 16 or so at the time and I was approached by a group of 14 year old girls. One of the girls walked up to me and asked for a high five. When I tried to high five her she dodged my hand and yelled "loser!" And they all walked away laughing.

I'm not sure why I appeared as a loser to them , maybe it was the way I dressed, maybe having a beta face . Girls can be brutal and that always stuck with me.

You need to realize a certain truth: In this world, there is nothing more pathetic than a weak man. EVERYONE wants to sh*t on him, just on an instinctual basis, perhaps its an evolutionary feature to get him to harden up and become useful.

On a serious note: Even if you are short, ugly, weak,etc you can still get respect if you are INTELLIGENT, competent and more importantly, not highly inhibited. Its your inhibition which is the death touch when combined with other 'faulty' characteristics -- with this combo you will never be respected. It's an open invitation to f*** with you. These bullies in your life need to feel that there is some kind of 'risk' if they f*** with you. Nobody comes up to a stranger and bullies them right away, first they size you up, then they approach you and engage, if your attitude and physiognomy spells WEAKNESS (and it's not the ugliness of your face that transmits this information), then they may troll you. Younger people are more direct about it, but it doesn't get better with older people, just more subtle.

Having physical flaws is one thing, but having a weak timid mind is very harmful as a male. Realize that yes, people LOVE f*****g with other people to make themselves feel better, and you may have done it yourself to somebody else in the past, its a human truth that you're painfully aware of, can't change it. Yes well said, if it's clear someone is being an *** then be above them, smarter, quicker, and realise they know you're acknowledging they are being an *** and you have zero time for it. That's really the best way to go about it, and most dignified, cut them short as soon as you realise their game (normally they think you're an idiot who has no idea what's going on, so you'll surprise them by being beyond their little game).

I also thought about the possibility that this situation was not as intentionally aggressive as it was received, it's probably indicative of a fairly cruel person in her humour, but she might've just been f*****g around and had no idea it would be taken so badly. I'm not sure a person like that would really care if it was taken so badly, but I get the feeling (from knowing girls like her) if she saw this topic she'd just be like "lol dude chill out wtf, lol".
