It is somewhat irritating that he posted it, admittedly. It was obviously just an attempt to ruin reputation, etc... but the reality is, there's a reason for things that seem shady, almost all the time. Whether you want to discuss them is usually the issue.
The reason is simply that we're not some huge shop like drugstore.com where we can overcharge by $1 on our 5 billion domestic orders per day, and then take a $100 or $200 hit on international orders if something is lost.
The other side of the untrackable issue is that we have no way of proving that he DIDNT get the products either. So people could easily just say whatever they like, and get free stuff. So the risk goes both ways.
The solution was then to at least provide the customer with two options. Trackable or Untrackable... and make them aware of the risks ahead of time. If you guys go buy more stuff from our store we'll be able to do neat things like other big shops do
