Everything needs to be done wisely and with realistic expectations, I find it unethical when doctors take advantage of people's insecurities for personal gain ($$$) whether it's a hair transplant or botox or anything else

There are guys who had a poor hair transplant that left them with poor density at the hairline and no donor left to fix it after 1 procedure, and they resort to wearing a fringe to cover it up.

I think in most cases the doctor gets consent from the patient. If not, then they are unethical. It does work both ways where the patient needs to do their homework too.

So are they still in business? I loved going to Taco Cabana so much. I was an addict for the place. We have their sister company here which serves Cuban food and I go there all the time. I don't think I ever tried Whataburger. I also loved EZs pizza place.

Ethnical doesn't mean just obtaining consent, medicine is way more complicated than that.

Absolutely. Unfortunately many patients are misled by plastic Docs, some of these Drs even brag about it...they make false promises or take advantage of depression/anxiety/BDD and make bank. Any charming Dr who knows his field can manipulate things if he knows how to and has the desire, that's what is unethical and sad. Some of the hair drs are very ethnical and actually turn down more cases than accept as they have their own code of conduct and what is correct. There will be malicious and/or incompetent people in any field just the way life is.

When you see reality of hair transplants on other forums and up and close you see quite a few people have been screwed over with scars or poor growth. It actually can't be completely changed as grafts are limited and scars form on top too. Yeh, some unlucky guys are "out of the game" after 1 massive procedure which had poor growth, scars and donor overharvesting. Also own physiology plays a role, even top surgeons have failed results as some guys just can't grow the new hair well. Probably why I would never stop finasteride unless I really needed to, there is no guarantee of a good result no matter what donor you have and plus it still won't be like now.

You did well but ideally these procedures seem to be best for low NWs, top surgeon and dense packing - all about mathematics first and some artistry. Otherwise, it can be quite limited in many ways though Dr Zarev has some impressive results for people who lost a lot and they have a good illusion under most circumstances.

Why arent they working on hair donation person to person? Seems easier to work on organ rejection than cloning hairs

You are always going to have to prove you are different until they finally trust you but the problem is will they ever trust you? And will you ever trust them? That is why the wall is up. Cheating now a days is such an easy option because you have so many temptations on your phone. You always have to worry if it's going to happen to you. And if it does. Can you trust again and again and again.

I told her straight, she needs to stop tainting new opportunities with past experiences, and that the reason why she has been blown off is probably because guys have not been honest with her about what their expectations and needs are. Where as you say, easier to not have that conversation and just shop around.

It is resonating with her, the problem is I want to have FUN. Seems like other women are a lot less complicated and fun.
