what does real mean?) I buy finasteride in a pharmacy. why would they deceive me? especially, as I said, I buy finasteride intended for prostate adenoma, a rather serious disease.
i am just asking you to be sure . You have to be sure that it is real finasteride , many people buy it online from India, in that case, you can't be 100 % sure .

I would recommend if you want of course scalp biopsy because it will show if there is a decrease in scalp DHT I cannot think of any other way of making sure the finasteride is working for you.

If it’s finasteride from the Philippines or something like that then you need to be cautious. But Western pharmacies and Indian are reliable

hmmm... what should I do now? how did you deal with it or did nothing help you as well?

I read an article in one of the threads you provided me. It says that the reason finasteride isn't working could be "Congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency." How can I check this diagnosis?

UPD: after reviewing the information about this diagnosis, it does not seem that I have any signs of a 21-hydroxylase deficiency

I think if finasteride worked, then the results of the analysis would show at least a minimal decrease of 200 - 300 points. So there is no point in doing a scalp biopsy

Dude just try dutasteride
yes I understood that. But I need to finish taking the finasteride that the doctor prescribed for me, the pills have already been bought and I have been drinking them for almost half a month. I think it makes sense to complete it and see the result.

But to be honest, I'm afraid that I fell into that category of people for whom dihydrotestosterone inhibitors do not help. I have now read all the topics @IdealForehead and @klooop and I'm really sad that I have a similar situation

It’s possible that dutasteride might not work either. It did not work for me, but finasteride did. However I guarantee you 5mg of finasteride will do nothing if 1mg did nothing. It is not like minoxidil where there is a steeper dose-response curve. I would be taking 5-10mg of oral minoxidil if I were you. I would also get on a topical antiandrogen - it’s not like it will affect blood work, so you can still determine what is working and what isn’t, while still preserving your hair. Time is of the essence

What is topical antiandrogen? Can you advise me on a specific preparation?

RU58841, many people use it. I have used it in the past, no problems at all. Personally I make topical bicalutamide which is cheaper, more convenient, and I would say just as effective.

those are the best options. There are weaker ones like Fluridil, CB, alfatradiol which might work if your hair loss is not that bad.

Yeah. There’s other sites out there like Anageninc too. But it’s all expensive. If you but the raw powder it is more affordable. I always bought pre-mixed. But some people on here have a source for cheaper powders.

Do not quite understand. After all, in the previous comment you wrote that you are doing topical bicalutamide.

I could only find bicalutamide tablets on the Internet. I understand there is a powder from which you can make a mixture. But I don't understand where people get instructions on how to mix properly to get topical bicalutamide or RU58841.

Are you still using topical bicalutamide? How long is it enough? I.e. I mean, you bought a bag of powder (I don't know how many grams there are), and how much is enough for you. A month, two, less?
