Apparently it's been done with success before after a quick Google search, but I couldn't find specifics for how much regrowth was seen/if side effects were observed. I imagine it must have been lackluster in one of those areas or we'd have already seen it.

Me being honest about my job is far from the weirdest thing that goes on here on HairLossTalk.com. One only has to look at the Impact of Hair Loss section to know that. Cis (not trans) women can and often do take spironolactone to combat androgenic alopecia. They probably wouldn't be able to take estradiol unless they were already going through menopause or had some other hormonal issues. Estradiol levels which are too high carry serious health risks (which is a big part of why I have to get regular blood tests to make sure I am within typical female ranges).
