Is my scalp thinning? Or just natural since hair is thinnish.

I don't think vegan diets are inherently good or bad for hair.

On one hand, there's studies with phytoestrogens promoting increased T and masculinity in males. So I can see a diet high in soy being problematic. But then again, lots of plant foods contain equol which can bind to DHT and help hair.

Vegan diets are generally more alkaline and can reduce inflammation. Question is, is it significant enough to help hair? Again, probably depends.

Low fat diets, particularly very low fat diets might be good for hair (80/10/10, McDougall, Esselstyn, etc). The less fat the less that hormones can be produced. If you have female hormones, this might be bad. But if you're an androgen machine then it probably helps. Then again, you might feel crappy as a male if you reduce your T levels, so there's also that.

All in all I don't think it's going to make much of a difference as this is a means of addressing the issue in a very indirect manner with multiple stages of metabolism to go through before affecting the scalp. Very low fat is probably the safest of these for hair but who wants to have to constantly eat just to maintain energy levels that are lower anyways? I ate that kind of a diet before I even noticed hair loss, but I was also exhausted. But hey if hair is the only thing you care about then it might be worth it.
Do you think seeing a trichologist who offers supplements in early balding will be worth it? My hair is pretty damn thick right now so I must be in early stages

But of course if you're a female fats might be good for increasing E.

Depends on what a guy is taking and how well he aromatizes.

It might be. I think if I stuck to that very low fat vegan diet I would have slowed things for sure. But just not conducive to an active lifestyle IMO.

Of course there are other people on here who have gotten results from other diets. So it's probably worth a shot before trying the finasteride+min train

Either way they will increase T. But there are some that will be less or more inflammatory.

you're gonna need lots of healthy fats to push ur hair growth to the next stage.

Fats like pork, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds etc.

I do think the level of aromatization (which varies heavily) is a factor of which diet people will benefit from. We all know people often get opposite results on diets that are completely the opposite.

Like I said, early stages it's worth it but if there's some significance to it you're going to need something that operates in a more direct pathway. Otherwise nature will just take its course.

when taeian reviewed my diet he said it was lacking in fat hence the limited hair gains. Once I included carbs, the seeds and the pork things really accelerated.

Give it a shot someday you'll be surprised how your diet plays a role on your hair growth.

From what I see on here so far, hairline looks good. The other pics could be seen as a possible case of naturally low density. However, the one pic right after the shower looks concerning.

Correct density. this is basically what no recession + dense hair looks like.

Don't freak out and talk about shaving it right now though. We often think things are worse than they are. Regardless of how you go about things, try not to stress too much about it.
