Exactly......he thinks because they are classed similarly that means they have the same effect......I mean (r)-Equol and (s)-Equol are very similar and derived from the same plant, but induce Estrogen Recptor transactivations in a different manner as an example.

Having seen the young girl with AA grow all her hair back, there is no doubt in my mind it has an effect on hair.......Im just hoping it has a positive effect on us guys with Androgenetic Alopeica.

AA got nothing to do with DHT and so I would expect equol would do nothing to AA. However, reality has shown a strong effect for AA, which always make me ponder.

imo, the impressive result for AA must be coming from DGLA and equol should be for Androgenetic Alopecia only.

I know it doesnt....hence my reservation in getting too excited about it, but remaining hopeful none the less.....but shitting on it saying that the ingredients are useless is not true imo.

You're NW3 at 23 and risking getting a hair transplant without finasteride ? You better reeeaally hope brotzu works.
going for a hair transplant does not mean you want a norwood 0 back....
I have seen a lot of people who are happy to have a "normal" looking hairline / you can call it a mature hairline but at least they don't have these ugly thinning temples recessions anymore

Yeah I was NW4/5 at 25, got 4000 grafts to make me Norwood 2.5 with good density. Saved my dating life, made me not hate sunlight, I'd say that was worth it.

I’d say the guys over on IESON have a reasonable, although rather blithe, attitude towards all of this: They’re not buying it.

Yet they promote that Apple sh*t in their store and on the forum
Yep exactly, seems like they trying to passively convince people to not buy it because it now has expected release date. But whatever time will tell and I hope for the best.

Well, I was always wondering, theoretically, equol + DGLA + L-cartinine are supposed to help Androgenetic Alopecia and I would expect the lotion will do nothing for AA. However, f*** reality, the lotion did amazingly for AA and did mediocre for Androgenetic Alopecia. wtf

Virtually identical ingredients? Show me where the core ingredient s-equol has been used in a scam hairloss remedy.

The reason I have to repeat myself every page is because only 0.01% of people read each page. Let me say it again, s-equol was never a 'core' ingredient. PGE1 was the sole discovery drug. Brotzu said himself that equol was an after-thought addition. Let me explain for the 50th time what s-equol is:

s-equol is a soy isoflavone (which is a common ingredient in decades-old hairloss products). Their main function is to attract to estrogen receptors, whose expression have been studied to play a role in telogen to anagen induction. Also, I didn't look too hard, but here's a quote from the abstract of a 2002 study with no mention of equol: "soybean isoflavones are known to inhibit 5 alpha-reductase" - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12416261

Remember, because I understand I've said this over 20 times: PGE1 was the 'discovery' drug, which he changed to the precursor DGLA. S-Equol+L-carnitine were after-thoughts that he added because he read decade old research on what helps hair, and he just randomly added them in. He has said this himself.

Even in the patent, the list of ingredients in the process to make this lotion: "a plant estrogen selected from equol, genistein, daidzein, glycitein". S-Equol isn't and never was special. It was picked out of a hat of phytoestrogens.

They probably read this thread after being called out on their shenanigans. So now they are backpedaling and will go "we never said cure, this treatment works for someone and for others not". They knew that it never worked.

I thought we all knew this wasn’t a “cure”..

The same as finasteride and min not being “cures” but rather treatments.
