Is anyone applying trinov more than 1X a day? The 1 mL dose 1X does not seem logical, nor does it cover much area. The plasma 1/2 life of an oral dose of s-equol is about 8 hours, so it seems to me that 2X a day would be needed to maintain any kind of therapeutic levels in the scalp if the turnover is similar to those seen in PK studies.

I’ve been wondering this too. Surely if x2 is better they would reccomend it to sell more product and achieve better results?

Don't worry about the plasma half-life when applying something topically through the skin. The half-life in the skin is what matters, and there is likely not much data available on that. If you look at the equol thread by IdealForehead, he cited research claiming that Equol builds up some kind of skin reservoir from which it is progressively released.

Just ordered 3 bottles to be shipped to the US. Total cost with shipping was $237 (the shipping via DHL was $27). We'll see how it goes.

Wow did you have to buy at least 3 to get it for only $70/bottle? That's the lowest I've seen yet, where did you buy it from?

Well I'm desperate since nothing has worked for me so far. And if this product is truly ineffective I'm sure Fidia will take a loss.

The sad this is that this will become something like Nizoral or Revita shampoo.
Everyone will keep saying that it works when in fact it does little or absolutely nothing.
Then after a year or two everyone will wake up.

Ketoconazole is backed by reliable studies, this one is not.

Do your research and you'll realize that there is zero evidence, none whatsoever that this will work.

Bro majority of people in this forum have been here for a long time. We know what we are getting into purchasing this product. The longer you stay in this forum you realise that we switch sides from time to time. Next week you might say oh there is actually evidence.
If you are wise you would get out of this forum.

LOL

https://www.jdsjournal.com/article/S0923-1811(06)00249-0/abstract

Let's see... a sample size of a whopping six. 50% of them showed apparently some improvement. Nevertheless asian men usually respond to even mild antiandrogens and caucasian men mostly do not.

The other one is this:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9669136

They compare the results of ketoconazole to that of minoxidil. I'm pretty sure that the best ketoconazole responder in the history of hair loss forums has not regrown as much hair as the average minoxidil responder does.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3964684/

The third is a mouse study, I'm not even going to comment on that.

These studies are nonsense, and the real world results do not carry over. Even saw palmetto has studies like this to back it up, doesn't mean it should be part of the big 3 or that it's worth considering it a hair loss treatment at all.
