LOL

https://www.jdsjournal.com/article/S0923-1811(06)00249-0/abstract

Let's see... a sample size of a whopping six. 50% of them showed apparently some improvement. Nevertheless asian men usually respond to even mild antiandrogens and caucasian men mostly do not.

The other one is this:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9669136

They compare the results of ketoconazole to that of minoxidil. I'm pretty sure that the best ketoconazole responder in the history of hair loss forums has not regrown as much hair as the average minoxidil responder does.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3964684/

The third is a mouse study, I'm not even going to comment on that.

These studies are nonsense, and the real world results do not carry over. Even saw palmetto has studies like this to back it up, doesn't mean it should be part of the big 3 or that it's worth considering it a hair loss treatment at all.
I don’t think Ketoconazole can stop hairloss or regrow hair. However it’s an anti-inflammatory/ anti-fungal shampoo which is used for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis and tinea capitis(fungal infection of the scalp) so it’s mainly used to reduce the inflammation(which many people report it when getting hit with androgenetic alopecia) so it can allow minoxidil and propecia to work effectively. If I remember correctly, it was also used alongside propecia in merck trials.
So it’s an important part of the regimen but probably won’t do much on its own.

Is there any chance that this lotion makes things worse? I am content with my diffuse hair right now but I desperately need the hair during 2019 and the beginning of 2020. I don't think I ll lose the hair in 2019 unless I f*** it up with a drug or lotion. I am thinking about using this lotion after 2-3 months so if anyone feels that the lotion is making things worse please report.

They had a 6 months trial and showed 0 pics. Why is that?

If something doesn't do much on its own, I generally don't include it as part of my regimen. Literally what is the point? I've used ketoconazole in combination with Finasteride and Minoxidil for 1 year. My hair looked terrible cosmetically due to using the shampoo every 3 days - dried out and thin like straw. After I quit using it, my hair only got better (cosmetically). I had no hair loss or shedding or really anything to suggest that the ketoconazole was helping me maintain or improving my hair in any way whatsoever. Hence, my view is that whatever miserably small effect Keto may have on slowing baldness is offset by the negative aesthetic impact on the quality of hair which is immediate and constant while one uses it. And I've heard many people say it did that to their hair.

lol what a joke... just release the damn pictures

I’m hopping on the microneedling bandwagon, studies prove it works and we have dozens of personal anecdotes from members of its success. Doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for a few months usage either.
You realize fidia/trinov is on their own timeline right? Theyre not sworn to adhere to the autistic demands of hairlosstalk users. We’re way ahead of the curve on this forumn. Hopefully the pictures will be released soon but theres no reason to call them a “joke”

We've been hoping for too long man. The product has been out for some time now. It's obvious, they won't be releasing sh*t.

Wow I didn't know there was that many ingredients in the formula. I can already tell this lotion is gonna make my hair greasy and look like s***. I wonder if leaving this stuff on for only couple of hours a day will have any benefit.

Guys from Trinov just told me that:

Hi ----,

keep following us and you will see photos of our clininal studies soon, it's a promise!

Happy holidays,
Trinov Anticaduta

I was just about to ask that. Where the f*** are those pictures? People spending untold fortunes on grainy photos of octogenarians released on forums, yet no pictures exist on trinov's actual site.

You quit finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil? You will lose all your hair. :(
Or maybe not? I am 8 days on Trinov and the shed from cutting the big 3+dutasteride is reduced a lot. It might be just ending of the shed, but overall no head itching, less sheding and of course nice fragnance. :D
Honestly I just want something not fakin with my hormones. I want to be able to have 100% erection with my girlfriend. I will mak the thread with pictures tomorow.

It is less greasy than kirkland minoxidil. Not sure about the results yet.
