yeah your hairline looks great in the pic you sent me. but irl you need thick hair. i doubt your photo on feeler transported. your level of diffuse baldness. if it did, you wouldn't have these results without a ljungberg tier face
I have pics in direct sunlight or a florescent light above my head where my hairline appears a bit thinner and more see-through, just slightly lower results tbh but still good overall. I'm no Ljunberg, without hair I get destroyed, but luckily I have a good face, my eyes are kinda similar to Ashton Kutcher's, women also consider my body attractive.

But yeah, if I wore a concealer, a hair system or just never had hair loss to begin with I'd basically be in the "top 20% of guys" or whatever you call it lol.

Because of my situation, it's best for me to go for short girls. :D

It is what it is though, at the end of the day gotta be mature about it and accept it. The thing I'll try is to grow the front long and swoop it back, just to maximize the effect.

Since you seem to be knowledgeable, lemme ask: How many grafts does a caucasian man have for future hair transplants usually? 9000?

Yeah but only about 8000 before it appears depleted, which you don't want. I only have about 500 grafts that I can use left now, probably gonna spread them throughout the midscalp.
1. hairline lowering surgery so you need less grafts
2. 8000 grafts
3. beard grafts taken from below the chin (not noticable irl)

No, it’s not money- my cousin is not rich. And when he was meeting and dating all those hot girls initially they had no idea how he was hung, right? He attracted them an amazing personality, fitness, and sense of humor. Lot of people underestimate the attraction of confidence and a great sense of humor in getting women. If I had to choose one trait that attracts women it is not looks at all. If you can make her laugh she will start finding you attractive even if she didn’t at first. Believe me on this guys.
This is all just tongue in cheek for me. I realize that there are many attributes that people look for in others. We can all probably agree however that being bald doesn't help the situation in terms of meeting or dating or marrying women.

We are indeed

If you are Norwood 7 with thinning donor then damn man you have my sympathies. I would suggest the shaving and acceptance route and trying to maximize everything else you can in your life.

I would just like to clarify my previous post though. Even if you are Norwood 2 or Norwood 2.5, it isn't the present that should stress you out. It is the quick and aggressive potential future loss that awaits. This is why I recommend at least giving finasteride a try, and if you feel it's not for you, slowly taper off of it.

I don't think this forum would exist if everyone just stopped at Norwood 3. It is only the full horseshoe that people really fear, not a slightly messed up hairline. In my opinion the only stressors you may feel with minor hair loss is the personal acceptance that you are aging and do not look completely juvenile anymore. But functionally people will treat you practically the same, and your other attributes will become the determining factors of your success or failure in any endeavor.

What do you think about a situation like mine? A guy who was NW4-6 and then bounced back to NW1.25, low density all over with a thickish front, sides and back buzzed with no guard in a fade style.

I think your situation is great dude, once your transplant grows in you are effectively cured. If you notice any deterioration, just hop on finasteride.

You identified a problem, were proactive about it and did something, didn't just lay down and rot...respect for that .

Thanks bro. <3 Do you think it would be wise for me to add SMP? Will it make my midscalp less shiny under bright lights?

I honestly think you should've only gotten back to NW2. More realistic and since you're in your 30's that's a perfectly acceptable aesthetic and natural hairline (aka "mature hairline")

Will be hard to say, once your transplant grows in if you have a pic you'd like to pm me, I'll be happy to offer my opinion.

Im hoping my own transplant will be good enough that I won't need SMP or concealer but I'm not opposed to either option. A little toppik is hardly an inconvenience as I've already been applying minoxidil twice a day for years lol, and that is much more of a pain in the ***.

Eh, I already had NW2 before and with NW1 my face looks way better, my hairline design is very natural looking so it's not a problem. I have mature NW1 not a teenager hairline, rather NW1.5. Besides look at Prince Harry his roof is almost completely gone yet he's still maintained his original hairline.

Will do!

Yeah, I'm looking for a permanent solution so toppik is not an option for me.

Glad you're getting a transplant, wishing you the best!

I have seen some bald and ugly guys get women indeed.

The point is, is this an outlier or the norm? Discussing outliers is a pointless effort.

A useful discussion is, on average, how much will a person be affected by this disease? If you take your individual case, you may be average, below average, or above average. Of course statistically speaking, let's assume you to be average as it is the most likely outcome.

I posit that up to Norwood 3 this condition has almost 0 effect on your life. Up to that point you are just using it as an excuse for your other problems in life, and being a straight up lazy b**ch. Nobody really categorizes people by Norwood levels in their head. It is more so, bald or not bald. At least before I started losing hair this is how I thought of things. I thought people who were losing hair just had a bad haircut for whatever reason.

However, after Norwood 3, I posit that it has a much higher, negative impact on your life (on average). I think there are plenty of studies that can show this, and of course user accounts as well.

Especially if you are in your twenties, and attempting to date women in your age range or younger.

Fortunately, transplant technology with elite surgeons can bring almost anyone back to Norwood 3, thus making all excuses void. Now it is just a matter of saving up $ and getting it done.

The severe DUPA Norwood 7 guys are the true martyrs here.
it really hurts to read this because I have a dupa

Even if you have DUPA you aren't screwed per se. I sent pictures to Dr. Lorenzo, an expert in DUPA cases, and he confirmed I have slight DUPA too.

Finasteride is helping hold DUPA in line though. It won't cure it, but it will help. If you stay on it, you are improving your chances.

But this is why Im only consulting with the best surgeons, my hair quality isn't good enough to just go with any surgeon out there. I wish it was, but what can I do. Short list of doctors I would recommend to you: Konior, Lorenzo, Feirrera, Zarev.
