lol. i wouldnt use a concealer if you paid me. I think its like wearing a wig. Yes still on the half mg. Things fine. Though i have been kinda ill lately with my thyroid playing up again. Hair still the same.

hey ppl. havent been here in a wee wile so im posting a small update.

Hair isnt much different. I think its a bit thinner maybe but im going through a shed right now. I havent been well recently with my thyroid screwing me up. Had my bloods done recently and my gluscose levels were low so i had them done a week later and they were still low. thats being investigates aswell now. Im still on my 0.5mg of finasteride and using nizoral few times during the week.

MY scalp isnt as itchy since using nizoral and its been that way for months now. so thats good. however if i comb my hair i get a serious amount of white scalp skin. like dandruff. which is kinda weird considering nizoral is anti dandruff. i only use nizoral twice a week. anyone any ideas on this?

My hair is freaking me out less recently. I dont know what it is. maybe age or maybe acceptance of it. its hardly bad i know but i have got over the fact my hair isnt as it use to be.

Im considering gettin into a topical again at some stage soon. not sure which but ill keep everyone posted. Hope all you guys doing well.

I kinda forgot about my hair the past while. I have had a torrid time with illness. Between thyroid issues, the flu etc Havent been out drinking or socialising so it wasnt the best time ive ever had. Though i did have my gf giving me tlc but even she started to bug me i seen so much of her! lol.

Im better now and looking forward to heading out tonight to watch united get sank lol.
As far as treatments go im still just rolling out with the 0.5mg everyday and nizoral when ever i feel my scalp needs it. Never got back on the minoxidil which was working very well for me but just made me feel screwed up. I may give it another chance in time or try another formula to see if i tolerate it better.

My hair seems the same to me sort of so i guess thats good sign.

Ah, thats good to hear mate. To an extent, your illnesses and that have probably taken your mind off it for a bit anyway...it probably helps as we get a bit obsessive with it from time to time I guess huh?

Sadly, you won't be enjoying United getting sank anyway...I've given up on it by now, hence the match now just being background noise whereas at the start, I was fully dedicated to it and was watching it fully.

Hey man sorry if I've missed this but on your initial post you said you had 1.25mg as your finasteride dose and in your latest its 0.5. Which one have you been using/getting results with. My baseline hairline is practically identical to yours, with the NW2 temples and a little thin over the first few cm of hair. So yeah, let me know if you can. Also, I've added S5 once daily on my hairline and its fantastically easy to apply, I have hair about twice your length and it doesn't effect styling at all. Just something to consider if you were looking to add a topical.

i started on the 1.25mg but got sides so cvut down to the 0.5. been on the 0.5 past month and halfish. Thats all im doing. seems to be okay. Was thiknig of s5 but tbh im not really so bothered right now bout it all lol.

Haha yeah I know what you mean. I get phases of being OK with it, then phases of not. It just seems like so many people on here get much better results with 0.5 than 1/1.25 if they're taking finasteride at a real early stage, but thats just an observation not anything I can back up or explain. I've been thinking of dropping it down.

For anyone interested...Not really a progress update or anything as you can see the lighting aint got a flash or anything but i took a picture of my hair soaking wet straight out of the shower. Theres some thinning at the crown which is a worry. Overall though things arent too bad. Sorry about the awkward looking shirtless shoulder!. Keep popping them pills eh.

Is your hair long?
Maybe if the photo was bigger the thinning would be visible.
Looks like a full head of thick hair to me.

you have no real business on this board (although you're more than welcome dont get me wrong) but i must say maybe you've got other issues that dont involve hairloss, i duno

i mean, taking the time to take and post pictures of your "hairloss"is a bit eccentric dont you think? its OCD behaviour particularly when you went on propecia etc. Its a bit of a piss-take for guys like us who actually are balding

hair loss is hair loss. Its clear to see from pics on previous pages i have some thinning. It may not be the usual receeding thing or wat not but its thinning and at 23 thats hair loss that should be acknowledged. I have no issues being here. My life is blessed. Im here cause i dont want my hair to get worse. Maybe theres some here who wouldnt care if they lost a bit but any to me is a lot. Im a part time model as well so my hair is obviously important. I will be giving that up once i finish up uni but my hair is still special to me as it is to all of you so i dont want to lose it. Theres plenty on here like me. Slow thinning. I can understand some of you who have aggresive hair loss being annoyed but what you want us to do?? wait until we are nw3?? nah. im nipping this in the bud so i get as many years out of my hair as i can. Even before i noticed any hair loss my hair is always been a big part of me. I love doing hairstyles and all that.
